A Green Tech Martin Luther may have emerged in California, but the state is unlikely to convert to his brand of economic religion.
On Oct. 31, 1517, the Catholic monk Martin Luther posted his 95 theses on the door of the All Saints Catholic Church in Wittenberg, Germany, thus triggering the Reformation and the separation of church and state. The basis of Luthers protest was the churchs sale of indulgences and emphasis on monetary donations for building large churches as a way to earn ones way into heaven.
On Jan. 20, 2011, in Palm Springs, T.J. Rodgers, a top green technology industrialist and de facto high priest, told 500 participants at the 7th Annual Green Tech Summit that they should reject government green energy subsidies, run like hell from selling or buying cap and trade pollution credits, and reject the notion that 95 percent of climatologists agree on global warming. The true believers of green religion in the audience received Rodgers address about as well as the indulgence salesman of 1517 who burned Luthers 95 theses. According to one reporter, there were outspoken uncomplimentary remarks made by the crowd after Rodgers speech.

T.J. Rodgers is no outsider to the green tech industry. He became wealthy converting sand into silicon computer chips. He is described as a Republican of libertarian persuasion... Obviously a crank.

This quote from the article echoes what has happened in other states...
At the Palm Springs Green Tech Summit, T.J. Rodgers pointed out that California is unlikely to see any significant boom in green jobs: Green jobs are almost all offshore you aint gonna make them in Fremont (California), just ask Solyndra.
Solyndra is a solar panel company that closed its California plant in November 2010 after receiving $535 million in Federal subsidies to build its factory. Solyndra was held up by President Obama as a model of home grown green tech industry. Solyndras green tech jobs are reportedly now being outsourced to China.
1/2 billion here, 1/2 billion there... real money lost...

Al Gore went to divinity school, even if he dropped out. The training shows. Look at how they concentrated on having politicians "Kiss the Ring" of their self appointed warming pontiffs. They sold indulgences that allowed the rich to continue to live their "Sinful" lifestyle. The rules only applied to poor people. And the way that they have secret truths that nobody else is allowed to test or question without being denounced as a denier.
Gore and his cronies are controlling the warmers in the same way that de' Medici family popes controlled the medieval peasants. And like the scams of the de' Medici this one is failing because someone got too greedy. Back then it was because Gutenberg's printing press introduced a revolution in communication that started flooding the market with so many indulgences that they could no longer be ignored and in a twist of fate so many Protestant pamphlets that the church in Rome couldn't burn them all. Likewise it was the revolution in communication caused by the Internet that allowed to much lite to be shown on the carbon trading exchanges. It also put out so many copies of the climategate emails that the warmers couldn't use their friends in the press to bury all the stories.

The basis of Luthers protest was the churchs sale of indulgencesCorrection: The basis of Luthers protest was Johann Tetzel's sale of indulgences combined with his, Luther's, paranoid schizophrenia, anti-semtism, alcoholism and his inability to control his libido.
Wayne Lusvardi needs to do some actual research before he publishes his thoughts.

Bravo! Someone had the cajones to come out and just tell the truth about Luther.
