He's been trying to pick fights with Rep. Bachmann for YEARS.

He never succeeds.

She is impervious to his vile vulgar rude attempts to manipulate her.

She is ALWAYS calm, invariably gracious, and totally 100% focused on presenting HER VIEWS to the audience, and never responds to his obsessive nonsense.

Mr. Bo-Tingles is just pathetic, but due to his fixation upon Rep. Bachmann, she's been on his show at least twice a week for well over a year.

He's HATED her for years, but frankly, his obsessive behavior bespeaks that he has a deep deep deep crush on her.

LOL

I hope that some time in the future that Marcus Bachmann will write his autobiography, LOLOL, it will be a very good read.

RE :”And he is fixated upon her, and has been for years, and she is simply imperturbable whenever she is interviewed by him.

Except that one time in fall 2008 Matthews set her up and kept telling her what to say. Finally when she replied “yes, ’the media ’ should investigate congress's views (motives) on America (pro/anti)” Matthews created a McCarthy investigation narrative and put EVERY Republican guest on the spot over it, and they dragged out liberal Colin Powell to denounce Bachmann over it. The Republicans he interrogated never saw the exchange before and Matthews was only re-playing a small part of it to them and the audience.

To show how made up it was ask Matthews and Powell if the Media should investigate congress for ‘racist’ views. That would have been the best reply, answer his 'questions' with questions that point right back at him.

>>>> "Bachmann used all of 6 minutes to give her position. Liar used 62, and referred to himself 55+ times.

I wonder how many times Michele Bachmann referred to HERSELF in her 6 minute presentation?" <<<<

THAT is her most distinguishing characteristic.

This is about THE COUNTRY, and *not* about her.

Whenever she appears on Mr. Bo-Tingles HARDBALL she is utterly selfless and egoless and NEVER reacts to anything he does or says.

She is SERIOUS, ruthlessly serious about her talking points, and no matter how often he interupts her, she sticks to HER program and he can't disrupt her.

EVER.

She is imperturbale.

Always on point.

She is impervious to him, she is regal, she is above his importunities, she has NO EGO ... and she is driving Mr. Matthews mad and has been, for over 2 years.

LOL

This is best because it’s the same timeslot 5pm EST:

FOXNEWS (Glenn) BECK 1,780,000
MSNBC HARDBALL 700,000

Monday Matthews was denouncing Glenn Beck and his viewers on his program Hardball. Denouncing your direct media competition is tacky, it’s so ‘Olbermann’.

“She’s a challenge to RINOs, f’sure.”

You got that right. I was furious they did not appoint her to the GOP conference chair. She did more to help the GOP get the House back than Jeb Hensarling. Who ever heard of him before the election?

The boy’s club needs to let some of the girls in. One day Boehner may have to say “Madam President”

What a repugnant slur on tea partiers in general.

“Bachmann needs some professional media help when she gives media events. Her supporting props weren’t very good and she wasn’t looking into the Camera. All of this could have been better with a little rehearsal and some media management.”

There were two cameras: a pool camera and a tea party camera. MB looked right into the TP camera the entire time. You can see the results on youtube or last Tuesday night on Greta Van Sustern. The MSM deliberately choice to use the pool camera shots because they made her look bad. Just like they deliberately try to make all non-Marxist candidates look bad.

RE :”Chris Matthews is a piece of work, and Rep. Michele Bachmann cannot be stopped!! LOL

Unfortunately I cant resist watching his show to see what antics he will try next and have seen him try almost everything, from yelling at and insulting guest Michelle Malkin to having Edwards wife as a surprise (victim-attacker) caller during a Ann Coulter sitdown interview on the street.

I am still amazed how many go on his show completely unprepared for the onslaught of games and got-ya traps that he plans for them, like they dont watch the shows before going on them. The only Republican that will go on Maddow now is Megan McCain

“My opinion is that Michele expressed her opinion with more passion about what she said than Ryan’s response. I watched both”

I watched both too. And it wasn’t just the passion MB brought. She connected with people better than Ryan.

I personally think MB knocked the ball out of the park. Unlike the remote, clinical, boring and academic response by Paul Ryan, MB was passionate, used facts and charts that people could relate to, and in general told the story of conservatives and conservatism in a way that people could immediately relate to in their own lives. MB gave an accurate and concise history of Obama’s failures, and did so in a way that people could understand was destructive to our country and ourselves. MB made it clear she’s staunchly opposed to Obummer and everything he is about and has done, and she makes no bones about being an implacable opponent.

I think MB will make a formidable candidate and an excellent President!

Also, look to the MSM to switch its incessant attacks against Palin to incessant attacks against MB once they start to perceive her threat to their Marixist-in-Chief.

I don’t support Bachmann or Palin because of what they look like. I was a Palin fan for two years based on what I read of her performance, well before McCain named her as his VP nominee or I saw that she was beautiful. With Bachmann, I decided I liked her based on hearing one of her speeches, again without seeing her. It’s ideas, values, and ability that matter to me. Still, to many voters, it’s also about image. We have the former junior US Senator from Illinois in our White House now, a man with no experience, no ability, no positive ideas, and no background that he will release to the voters, just because of generous editing, camera work, and other cosmetic considerations. America cannot afford to choose the challenger to that socialist based solely on cosmetics, but we also cannot afford to ignore that consideration.

I was a Fred Thompson fan initially four years ago, but his campaign speeches could put his own staff to sleep. There are others who have patriotic American values but lack the style to win. In terms of substance and style, it looks to me like the three leaders are currently Palin, Bachmann, and DeMint, and DeMint has assured us that he’s not running this time around. We have to work on the superficial aspects of Bachmann’s and Palin’s speeches (and Palin has improved dramatically there!), so that voters will listen to and be positively disposed emotionally toward the substance.

Me too, I first read about Governor Palin just before the news of her last pregnancy became known, and thereafter I always kept an eye out for further news articles about her, as she obviously was a fascinating conservative.

I am very struck by what a superb writer she is, and I am similarly struck by how cool, calm and collected that Rep. Bachmann invariably appears.

I hope they BOTH toss their bonnets into the ring and run for president -- AND I hope that there are other interesting well spoken conservatives who also do so, as the debates and coverage will be infinitely more interesting that all that "RINO Lite Stuff" of last time.

LOL

Bachmann to Matthews on election night for those that missed it:
'People are thrilled tonight. I imagine that thrill is not quite as tingly on your leg anymore.'
Classic! He will always remember that and gets his revenge when ever he has a chance.

He's sinking lower and lower into the sewer, and continues to destroy the last tiny bit of relevancy he may have ever had.

His self destruction is inevitable.

Networks, allowing her to grab the spotlight as a standard-bearer for the ***conservative movement***.
It’s the GOP last chance to get it right or go out of business and the progressives will own this country,we are running out of time at a high rate of speed.

Give it a rest. She was recording into a DIFFERENT CAMERA than CNN’s. On Purpose. It was the reason there was an event at all. CNN tagged along at the last second.

I bet her husband had a good time that night.
