Seems like Evans is changing his story. In the transcript he describes the whole conversation of asking Abercrombie when he first remembers seeing Obama, and Abercrombie said when he was playing T-ball, which Evans thought was strange (especially since Abercrombie had previously said he saw Ann and Barack and the baby together in social settings, I would add).
Now Evans says he didn’t have that conversation. Acted like he knew nothing about the claims Abercrombie had made about seeing Ann, Barack, and Barack II together.
More discrepancies. Par for the course with anything about Obama’s eligibility.
This was a trial Balloon, and Evans apparently didn’t know just how big a deal it was, or just what a huge reaction it would cause.
In a real sense I do not care how hard or fast Evans backtracks. It has kept the spotlight on a GLARING fact, Obama does not have a Long Form Birth Certificate. The videos on Youtube are going Viral. A LOT of people are seeing it now for the first time for the DAMN serious issue it is!
That right there is priceless, the focusing of public attention... I consider it good all the way around.
Actually- I think in the interview Evans was referencing two separate conversations. The first one about T-ball etc was when Evans interviewed Abercrombie during the inauguration. The second one- where he alluded to talking to Abercrombie about not being able to find the long-form was recent- in the last several days since Abercrombie said basically that he couldn’t find it.
But we see that AberCrombie has not clarified his friend Mike Evans or the newspapers that Obama does not have a Hawaiian birth certificate. Evans still believes there is no Obama BC. He also said in the Boyles interview that Abercrombie was going to “Torpedo the Birthers.”
And we hear that Abercrummie is hiding behind his press secretary.
