"We've got to up our game, we're going to need to go all in, we're going to need to get serious about winning the future," Obama said at Orion Energy Systems, his first stop on his first trip since giving the State of the Union speech Tuesday night.
Without directly naming Lombardi, Obama said the legendary Packers coach "said there is no room for second place, there's only one place in my game and that's first place. That's the kind of determination to win that American needs to show right now."
Obama, a Chicago Bears fan, caused a bit of a stir in Wisconsin last week when he predicted a Bears victory in the NFC Championship game against the Packers and said he planned to attend the Super Bowl if the Bears were in it.
