My dog can wolf down a meat and cheese wrap, with a tiny little pill hidden in the middle; and spit out the pill, completely intact. OTOH, it seems that a sitting Congressman can't detect an olive pit in a sandwich wrap.

Our dog likes to eat apple cores, but always manages to spit out just the seeds.

He used to make a funny movement of his head, as if he had just tasted something bad, if you even said the word "pill". But now he gets excited at pill time even though he sees me putting them into the peanut butter.

Trying to get my dog to take a pill is tiresome.
