Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL) wants "smart cuts" and not spending cuts for the "sake of cutting."
"That will hurt people who have cancer and kids who are trying to get Pell grants to go to college. We really have to remember, we're not just spending on, you know, big government bloated programs, the spending we appropriate helps real people," Rep. Schultz told FOX News.

Here we go. Republican spending cuts are going to kill people. Next she’ll tell us, and the press will dutifully report, how spending cuts are putting the elderly and children on the streets and killing puppies.

Here’s a hint Debbie, those spending cuts are going to happen, one way or another, voluntary or involuntary, sooner or later. But you’re hoping you can cash in on the continued corruption and be long gone before the whole house of cards comes crashing down. Aren’t you?
Ms Wasserman is correct.
Some Government spending does help people.
And when the economy is good we can fund some of these programs. But when the economy sucks as it does now, the people being helped by the programs are going to be effected by the crappy economy just like everyone else.
Sorry Ms Wasserman but that is the reality of life.
We are already passing on Trillions of dollars of debt to my grand children and their children and it is time to stop it!
Keep the spending and charging it to China. China will pay for every entitlement some ass can think about.
Yep. What right do others have to the produce of my labor? Not as much as Ms Wasserman and others think. Hint: it’s not greedy to want to keep what your earn. It’s greedy to want what you have not earned. And you don’t earn my money just by breathing.
The socialized med schemes this Yenta peddles is what is going to REALLY hurt people w/ cancer. In fact, it’s going to result in them dying ...without treatment — because SCUM like you will deem it too expensive, not cost effective.

The Government will do everything for everyone? The Government does not create jobs and get the economy rolling.
