WASHINGTON -- Two years after running against President Barack Obama, Senator John McCain says he sees a change.
Appearing on CBS' "Face the Nation," McCain expressed optimism that Obama will lead Democrats and Republicans to find common ground on key issues.

Asked if the push to repeal health care reform is a waste of time -- because Senate Democrats will block repeal and, should it pass, the president would veto it -- McCain said, "We need to have a vote on it because we promised the people we would. We campaigned that we would `repeal and replace'. We have to have a vote on repeal, so that everybody's on record whether they want to repeal. Then, I think, piece by piece, we go through -- quote -- replacing."
McCain said he believes that, this time around, Democrats are more willing to negotiate on specifics of the health care program.

At Obama's State of the Union address on Tuesday, McCain plans to sit with Sen. Tom Udall, a Democrat from New Mexico.
The Arizona Republican said he thinks having Democrats and Republicans sit together instead of dividing by parties is "a good idea."

"Who else wants to negotiate?"
“I hate this guy almost as much as Obama, Nancy, and Reid.”
I think I hate him more. The other three have always been in-your-face about who/what they are. However, before elections, Juan pretends to be pro-America only to revert to his true RINO Marxist self once firmly situated in his Senate seat.
Arizona is to blame. They know he does this, yet they continue to re-elect him.
McCain isn't going to convert a "Dino voter" to conservatism. And that's the problem: there are too many lefties in what should have been a right-wing faction.
What was Coulter saying, I missed that show. And who was the "other dufus?"
Thanks
Progressives of the world unite!!!
Coulter was saying we shouldn’t push for a repeal of Obamacare...
She jumped the shark as far as I’m concerned.
The other dufus, I don’t know who he was, but the little sniping comment about Donald Trump was definately something that caught my attention.
Both of them were doing the RINO song and dance... Hannity wasn’t buying it either, by the way...
Because after all McCain negotiated so successfully on the DADT repeal. </sarcasm>
Fools in AZ who picked this RINO POS over JD. Sickening morons.
He’s still constipated and still a Quisling!
Nothing has changed. They were buddies on the campaign trail and still are.
Let me ask any freeper who has the knowledge or would like to just take an educated guess ...
Who is the one person in the world that undeniably has the ability to get the USSC to investigate the Birth Certificate issue? Who would have standing in the courts eyes?
Who could have demanded that Obama release his birth certificate and any other documentation to prove that he was a NBC in a senate hearing? Who went through one and was told that he was a NBC because he had two parents that were American citizens?
Any takers???
NWO Globalist Fascist Alert
Well of course Obama has changed! In his SOTU tonight you will see. We are absolutely going to stop this ridiculous, over-the-top spending and ineffectual stimulus plans. We are now going to be “investing” huge amounts in “moving the country forward”, and “creating jobs.” That’s completely different, don’t you know???
YOU’RE SIMPLETONS IF YOU DON’T GET THAT! (sarc to the max!)
John McPain did seem really happy to concede on the night of Nov. 4, 2008. He may in a fit of racial guilt himself even voted for Obama.
The AZ morons either though McPain would bring them more federal gravy or at least national attention, which they must crave.
Coulter is starting to age somewhat and wants to be loved by all. A recipe for disaster
How can somebody live that long, and yet be that dumb?
Senility. It has to be senility.
