Hi, hi, Perky...((HUGS))...still sunny and dry? 15 days!
I went online tonight to check my wonderful DH's LES (leave and earning statement = paystub) for February 1 ... and it's wrong: about $1500 short. (sigh) At least once per deployment the pay people manage to mess up his pay ... and never in our favor ... and it usually takes at least one full pay period (or longer) to correct their error. The frustrating part is that did it (his pay) correctly in December ... but they're doing it differently (and incorrectly) for January. Anyway, I sent them off an email ... so we'll see what happens. (No worries about paying bills and such ... we've got more than adequate savings to cover things like this; I'm used to this ~ but it still irks me. When he went to Ukraine last fall, he didn't get paid for a MONTH!)
Otherwise, today was a reasonably quiet day ... but my pulled muscle is greatly improved... so I may try some slow/light biking tomorrow ... a few miles or so. And I got the sewer/water/trash bill paid .... so that leaves only a few more bills to come in the next week or so. Dinner tonight was chicken, oven-roasted red potatoes, and am impressively huge pile of fresh zucchini. I'm officially on zucchini overload, lol! But it's usually a great price in the winter, and at about 25 calories per zucchini, it's very diet friendly .... even if you ate TWO (like I did tonight!) I like to season my with oregano, basil and sundried tomatoes ... yum. Though, of course, they're awesome with garlic butter and parmesan cheese, too. They're actually quite tasty with pasta sauce on them, too.
<{P> Well, it's a chilly night here ... but I've got 6 cats in sight ... 2 on the couch, two on the floor by my chair, and 2 on my recliner with me. I'm not sure where the other three are ... but they are around somewhere. (Yes, I do spend a lot of time reporting on the whereabouts of my cats, don't I?) Hmmm..... I spend more time talking to my cats than people these days.
