There are 2 clues in what he said for the newspaper interview that sort of corroborate the story.
1) He seemed very concerned that there would be implications for the 2012 election that they just can’t have - as if he knew there were troubles brewing.
2) He talked about an “investigation”, which is totally bizarre if the HDOH has it right there in their files and/or microfilms. Sounds a lot more like desperately checking wherever he can.
Still it seems hard to believe that even he would be that stupid, to say these things for a newspaper interview and in a phone conversation.
Could be he knows he needs to backtrack on the claims he’s made because he will be in legal trouble when the truth comes out.

A week ago, I wasn’t sure if he was given marching orders to kick Hussein to the Kenyan curb.
Now, I’m convinced that drugs took their toll. His remaining brain cells are so few, he has named them Curly, Moe, and Larry.
Seriously, I think he was jubilant to be the Big Kahuna of his messiah’s birthplace and defender of the faith. He wanted a little limelight and some attaboys from the White Hut. The aging hippie drug addled useful idiot irony of it all.

Seems to me that he is indeed just “that stupid”.
Even opening up the whole subject initially was incredibly stupid of him.
