Channel 13 reported US Marshal stable, 2 St. Pete PD critical. Suspect hid in attic, shots fired, one wounded St. Pete officer was still in attic with suspect, used armored personell carrier to punch hole in house and extract wounded officer, lots of shots fired in rescue and no contact from suspect since rescue, suspect may have been wounded, killed or just laying in wait. Hundreds of officers on scene, nobody left in house but suspect. He had extensive violent criminal history.

I guess now that he's killed somebody important he may end up on death row. As long as he stuck to doing violence against mere citizens the legal industry was content to try and launder him.
