Young children are to be taught about homosexuality in their maths, geography, science and English lessons, it has emerged.
As part of a Government-backed drive to celebrate the gay community, maths problems could be introduced that involve gay characters.
In geography classes, students will be asked why homosexuals move from the countryside to cities and words such as outing and pride, will be used in language classes.
The lesson plans are designed to raise awareness about lesbian, gay, bisexual and transsexual issues and, in theory, could be used for children as young as four.
They will also mean youngsters are exposed to images of same-sex couples and books such as And Tango Makes Three, which tells the story of two male penguins raising a chick, which was inspired by events at New Yorks Central Park Zoo.
Meanwhile, statistics students may use census data on the number of homosexuals in England.
However critics warn that the drive is an unnecessary use of resources and distracts attention from learning, as British schools tumble down international league tables in maths, English and science. Although the lesson plans are not compulsory, they are backed by the Department for Education and will be available for schools to download from the Schools Out website.

How sad to watch the once mighty British empire crumble into a pile of rubble.
Pure,unmitigated bullshite.
There. . .fixed it.
Does anyone know whether homeschooling is allowed in Great Britain?
Sample problem: "Gayella is planning a sex-change operation, sometimes referred to as an "addadicktomy". How many will she have after the operation?"
Thanks for posting Sopater. I am praying and trying to convince my daughter and son-in-law to send my grandchildren to Christian school instead of public school. I would appreciate any leads on stories that you might have that point out the dangers and the progressive Godless agenda of the public school system.
It doesn't add up!
>>Does anyone know whether homeschooling is allowed in Great Britain?
For now (numbering around 80,000 as of 2009). The UK signed the UN Rights of the Child treaty, and have used it to justify eliminating homeschooling.
Do a search for metmom’s posts and join the Reason to Homeschool list. Those will chill your blood.
If a gay man named peter marries a gay man named peter, how many peters do they have?
Courtesy and Another Reason to Homeschool ping (if you do Britain)
Then I read the article. Nope.
Scary stuff, this. Coming soon to a school near you.
Maybe some math problems would be good:
1. Dave has sex with one thousand men each year. If each sexual encounter produces a 1 percent chance of getting AIDS, what are the chances that Dave will have AIDS by the end of one year?
2. Assume Dave has AIDS after one year. On average, how many men will he infect in year #2, assumng the 1 percent chance of transmission?
3. Assume that each of the men Dave infects lead the same lifestyle as Dave does. How many men will they infect in year #3?
4. Dave’s therapy for AIDS costs $50,000 each year. Assuming 1 million other people got AIDS the same way and need the same therapy and each patient pays only one percent of the cost, how much does the average American pay in higher health premiums and taxes for the treatments?
Are there private schools? And are they required to adopt this same curriculum? I don’t mean to torture you with questions, I’m just trying to think what I would do as a parent in this situation.
And we're not far behind.....
The UK is leading the West into the abyss of destruction with America following right behind!
BTTT
LOL, I must admit, these are priceless.
How about adding, if God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah because of homosexuality, how many other cities must be destroyed?

And THAT, ladies and gentlemen, should be the ONLY queer math quiz in the entire curriculum.
BRAVO Our man in washington!
