Evolution is a belief. It’s believed that amino acids and lightening or whatever created “life”. That dead things became alive. And that they organized themselves in a manner to reproduce. LOL.... and some people really believe it.

Some people also believe that all you need for life to begin on a planet, is liquid water and some kind of atmosphere - basically to be in the habitable zone (along with some amino acids).

But there again, for those who believe in evolution, the evidence they use to support evolution also supports the extreme unlikelihood of life on other planets. [Of course, don't bring up the subject of the “origin of life” to an evolutionist. They avoid that subject like the plague.]
