glad i could help...Gonna snag one , try it. I have in the past helped folks I work with “make” em work but a few times we got lucky and the fit and hold was perfect. I guess everyone of the mounts is a bit different and as you did a bit of detailing will make em good and solid.
I’ll get the one you have and try it first. If I’m lucky it’ll work as yours did. If not, a few set screws and some locktite should make it proper for EDC !
