Rudy Giuliani has already announced that hes considering a run for president in 2012, but, as he tells Piers Morgan in Mondays episode of Piers Morgan Tonight, hell be much more likely to run if Sarah Palin decides to as well.
Giuliani says that running against Palin would position him as a moderate Republican in contrast to Palins views. Morgan called him the acceptable face of the Republican party, to which Americas Mayor replied, Well. I dont know if Im acceptable. The way I got elected as mayor of New York City was not being acceptable. My slogan was You cant do any worse.
He adds that hes learned from his time campaigning in the 2008 primaries and, this time around, will focus his efforts on winning Iowa, New Hampshire and South Carolina.

By tax date we may have a large field splashing around.
Most of the people talking about running, you throw them in the water and they make no splash at all.

I did not know what either a huff or a flounce these guys keep talking about.
Urban dictionary:A flounce post is when one must proclaim that they are leaving a community forever.
The Palinistas effing wish you would flounce.

Rudy doesn’t have the fire in the gut needed to do this.
To: pissant
I like Rudy, but I won’t vote for him because he’s not Pro-Life. That’s a deal breaker for me.
To: homemom
Back around three years ago, during the primaries, I told my best friend about the cross-dressing photos of Rudy. My friend said he couldn't believe it. We went back to his house and I pulled them up on a image search and showed them to him. His response was: "No man dresses up like a woman unless he really wants to." I think Giuliani is a very disturbed man. Here is the proof:

Rudy doesnt have the fire in the gut needed to do this. Yes, I think he does.
Sarah/Rudy would be an interesting team.
To: pissant
Rudy obviously is one of those sick freaks who likes getting his ass kicked by a woman. I mean, we know he likes dressing up like one, but this?

Sorry Rudy, you lost any respect I had for you when you ran against Hillary and didn’t win against an obvious carpet-bagger corrupt wife of Bill Clinton. It should have been a landslide.
9/11 happened and you were great.
In the past couple of years though, you have proved yourself to be status quo. A Washington DC hack.
We need people that aren’t establishment, DC kool-aid drinkers. We need real Americans that still think they work for the American people. Call me jaded.

Rudy is a Palinista.
He will only run if she does to split the moderate vote away from Romney, Daniels and Pawlenty.
Divided they fall. This helps conservative candidates.
You guys need to figure out how politics works. The one with the most votes wins, and if you can get your opponents votes diluted among several candidates, you can win with a smaller plurality. You'd think people on FR would already know this. Rudy is not playing to people on sites like FR, and he knows he is not going to win the primary. He didn't even take Florida in 2008, the only place he showed up.
Rudy knows he will not be drawing any votes away from Sarah Palin.
Rudy also knows he might siphon off some RINO votes in the primaries in New Hampshire, Florida, New York, the Iowa caususes, South Carolina, and wherever else it might come in handy.
Rudy doesn't have to be a stauch conservative to recognize the danger facing the USA, and even liberal Republicans need a country in which to live. The USA will not survive under either another Democrat or a RINO, and even some astute liberal Republicans can see this.

I think you’re right about Giuliani peeling voters from Romney. At this point, Palin’s not my choice, but she beats heck out of Romney. Please, God, don’t let Huckabie get the nomination.
I’m so sick of politicians who want to be president.
