Former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani said he is more likely to run for president in 2012 if former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin makes a bid, according to snippets from an interview to air on CNN Monday night released on Twitter.
The more Republicans in which I can show a contrast, probably the better chance, the better chance that I have, Mr. Giuliani is quoted as saying on CNN host Piers Morgans Twitter account. My one chance, if I have a chance, is that Im considered a moderate.
The implication being that Ms. Palin, a tea party favorite, is not a moderate.
Ms. Palin, Sen. John McCains running mate in 2008, is widely assumed to be readying a run at the presidency next year. But only 27% of Americans have a positive impression of her, an all-time low, according to a Wall Street Journal/NBC News poll released this week.

This doesn’t make Giuliani look good.
Meet the new faces.
Same as the old faces.
Rudy isn’t even a moderate. Besides, his feet are too big.
Actually, I really think it is to get back at Romney.. they will split the RINO vote..put a conservative in as nomainee.
Just look at the Network he chose to make this statement.
Nobodies Mayor can stay in New York then.
She says she’s waiting to see if any conservatives will run, and he’s waiting to see if a conservative will run.
Rudy may be a moderate. But, he accomplished more conservative ends as Mayor then any Country Cluber did ever.
How much you getting paid for all the Palin stalking?
Let the games begin!
Interesting hypothesis, to split the RINO vote, but what did Mittens ever do to place Rudy in a place where he'd want "to get back at Romney"?
He doesn't know that Palin’s title is Governor Palin.
Let him run for a job collexting garbage in New York!
It’s too bad, as he was an excellent Mayor.
“Just look at the Network he chose to make this statement.”
Yep...telling - and disappointing.
It's too bad "Republicans" are expected to be "moderates" if they want to win. I'm voting for Palin in 2012. Even if I have to write her in. The "moderates" can KMA.
I can’t put my finger on it, but I faintly remember some jostling during the 08 primary... didn’t Romney basically take Giuliani out on Super Tuesday?
Giuliani didn’t make any of his supporters from the 2008 election look good either. Because of his early decision to drop out many of us had signs on our lawns for a candidate that decided to be a quitter.
I think Rudy would make an excellent Attorney General.
