I thought I saw some advantages in a coalition when this first broke and was in fairy land. If DeMint is boycotting, I fall in line with good Jim.
Not fast enough!
Crushed under the weight of its gaiety - a blow to Conservatism I might add...
From the article: “A number of prospective Republican presidential candidates are scheduled to attend the February conference. The list includes Indiana Gov. Mitch Daniels, Mississippi Gov. Haley Barbour, Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, former Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty and South Dakota Sen. John Thune.”
All people I hope won’t win. DeMint should be our candidate in 2012, IMO.
CPAC, Muslims, Gays.
No longer for conservatives.
If DeMint and a couple of others I could name ever pull out of the GOP, it will crumble just as fast.
Jim DeMint to boycott CPAC.
BillyBoy and 34,654,453 conservatives like this.
DeMint rocks!
Our group of 22 is skipping for the first time. Not because of GOProud, but because of David Keene’s submission to the Muslim Brotherhood and its golden boy Khan.
To all homosexuals, racist minorities (and you ARE racist more than most whites I know)--GET OUT OF MY FACE!. You already have social and legal privileges out the wazoo. I reserve some rights for myself!

As recently as a couple of years ago I was thinking about attending CPAC, for all I want *another* trip involving sitting aboard airplanes and getting through TSA security... but no more.
I predict that if the “values voters” alienate the libertarian/small government conservatives, that Obama will be re-elected in 2012. Most “values” are Constitutionally left to the States. Keep them out of federal politics and you will have the alliance you had in November.
