Talk-radio king asks why Hawaii governor seems to be alone in quest to resolve issue

Rush Limbaugh opened his top-rated program today asking why Hawaii Gov. Neil Abercrombie appears to have no support from the White House in his publicized quest to resolve the growing doubt about Barack Obama's eligibility for the Oval Office.

"Where's Obama? Where's the White House? Is this guy flying alone? Neil Abercrombie on his own on this? So much of this is difficult to fathom, to believe," the king of talk radio said.

Limbaugh noted WND's story Wednesday that has led to established media such as the Daily Mail of London declaring in a headline: "Hawaii governor claims record of Obama's birth 'exists in archives' but cannot produce the vital document."

But Abercrombie made a mistake, Limbaugh said, in announcing his investigation in December before he was sure that he could produce the proof.

Abercrombie told the Honolulu paper that resolving the issue is "a matter of principle with me."

Something occurred to me while reading your words -- BHO has never exhibited any other kind of expertise, with the possible exception of reading the TOTUS.

Seems to me that this bespeaks that he's had direct help from our intel agencies, and they helped him because he is one of THEM.

The constitutional requirement is that you be a natural born citizen of the United States.

Obama has produced no document substantiating his citizen status.

The burden of proof in on Obama.

We the people have a right to know.

There is no controversy.

Based on what I heard, I don’t think I’d call him a birther just yet. My impression is he was just reporting the facts so far, not forming a real opinion about the veracity of the Obama-non-citizen claims. He may well be a birther, but I wouldn’t conclude that definatively based on what I heard on his show today.

Obama’s campaign organization, Obama for America (now Organizing for America) paid its primary law firm, Perkins Coie, approximately $2m in legal fees to handle the organization’s legal affairs.

WND speculated that because attorneys from Perkins Coie also represented Obama in three eligibility lawsuits that every dollar paid to Perkins Coie must have been spent on the eligibility lawsuits.

And, obviously, the primary law firm responsible for a campaign’s legal affairs would have no other reason to charge legal fees, right? /s

Limbaugh is not a birther, he just thinks the way the White House and the State of Hawaii has handled this BC deal is odd..........which it is.

Think that corrupt bastard worries about money? He has lots of it. It would be worth that much to him to suddenly "find" it and make the birthers look silly.

Rush mentioned this today. I wouldn't put it past the rats to be sitting on the BC all this time just to piss us off later when they find it.

As others have mentioned, Rush was suspicious of the whole Abercrombie motive. His instincts usually serve him well. He warned people like Beck to stay away from Massa after the whole Rahm “towelgate” incident. He was correct about that.

Abercrombie has proven that at this time, Obama cannot prove he meets the Constitutional requirement to hold office.

Maybe latter Obama can prove it..

But today, right now, he cannot.

You know, a theory I have that fits, is Obama is hiding something, and Abercrombie is a spokesman for other powerful Democrats (hint HRC) who want Obama out. There is a lot of bad blood towards Obama now, from his own party.

Levin opened today with a teaser on this subject — made it sound like he was going to speak about Obama’s birthplace...then paused and said he was sure Harry Reid was born in Kenya because he seems so un-American.
