The condition of the United States Treasury is not in a condition to begin a subsidized program it can’t afford. It will have to default alone on Social Security, WHY add an extra expense to the National Debt.....Duh!

“Childish”?

Passing legislation angrily opposed by the majority of the people, including a disproportionate percentage of the productive members of our society, is flat out arrogance, they type you see in spoiled brats always wanting their way

The immaturity is found on your side, author. Go look in the mirror.

Where is the “reform,” LAT?

Where is the “healthcare?”

And to find “childish,” look no farther than Cohen and Jackson Lee.

Is it “childish” for me to wish that the Los Angeles Times was 3-ply......so I could use it to wipe my ass daily? =.=

"The healthcare reform law, while imperfect, is a done deal."

Nothing is ever done. Just look at the tax code.

The bill passed through fraud in the process and content.

But carrying a gigantic gavel through a crowd while grinning like an idiot and gloating is quite mature.

It's hard not to think of a bunch of spoiled children throwing a tantrum because they didn't get their way.

In case you didn't notice, this bunch of children is NOT THE SAME BUNCH as the bunch that passed this mess AGAINST THE WILL of the people.

psssst, LA Times, let you in on a little secret. The American People hate this. They will only hate it more as it is further implemented. “Done deal” I will tell you what is a done deal. The democrat party is done as this healthcare law will give the Republicans an issue to pound the dems with for years. Here is the kicker, the democrats know it and will have to rectify sooner or later. Ask Ben Nelson and some of his colleagues up for re-election in the Senate this year.

PS 9.6 % unemployment.

Was the healthcare bill bi-partisan?

Was the healthcare bill read by members before the vote?

Was procedure followed or bastardized to simply pass this bill?

How many waivers to this “wonderful” legislation have been handed out to SUPPORTERS of the Democrats?

But, I guess these are “childish” questions.

Let’s see, not a tantrum when Reid/Pelosi rams it through, tantrum when the repeal vote is bigger than the aye vote.

Nope, no bias here.

Ridicule. Belittle. Diminish.

Alinsky 101. These Leftists haven’t received the memo that the American people are onto their rhetoric. It took a few decades but now We, the People, are becoming more aware of the hard-Left bias of Big Media. Finally.

Judging by the last election, it isn’t just a handful of bitter GOP types that want this bill killed. It increases government, taxes, spending, and healthcare costs for working men and women. Most Americans aren’t too keen on any of that contrary to what the democrats think.

Democrats sacrifice the country to their party agenda. When the Republicans object, the Democrats tell everybody the Republicans are sacrificing the country to their party agenda.

Psychologists call this “projection”

Democrats call it winning.

Republicans call it lying.

I read the headline, glanced at the article, saw nothing but ad hominem, and stopped reading.

The Left really has nothing in the way of rational arguments.

“The healthcare reform law, while imperfect, is a done deal. The prudent thing to do at this point is to build on it rather than waste time with fruitless — and needlessly divisive — political grandstanding.”

Imperfect? The new euphemism for UnConstitutional, I guess.

Done deal? Hardly; and only in the minds of the leftists.

Build on it? And abet the criminal socialists in their mad march to marxism and the destruction of this grand experiment? I don’t think so.

Divisive grandstanding? The new euphemism for standing up for Constitutional principles, it seems.

These gasbags need to be retired from public disservice.
