PHILADELPHIA, Pennsylvania, January 20, 2011 (LifeSiteNews.com) - A massive, photograph-laden Grand Jury Report released Wednesday has detailed the bone-chilling practices of a Philadelphia abortionist, who clinic workers testified had delivered “hundreds” of living, breathing newborn children before severing their spinal cords or slitting their necks to complete the abortions.
Abortionist Kermit Gosnell was arrested Wednesday for eight counts of murder. One of the charges was for the botched-abortion death of 41-year-old Karnamaya Mongar, a Nepalese refugee. The other seven were for children who police had discovered, by examining their remains, had been born alive and then killed.
District Attorney R. Seth Williams released the 281-page report that was the basis for the murder charges against Gosnell and nine of his associates. Included in that report were photos of some of Gosnell’s victims.
In the report, the Grand Jury notes that several agencies and groups became aware of what has become known as Gosnell’s “shop of horrors,” but did nothing. They also provide extremely explicit descriptions of botched abortions, late-term abortions and infanticides rarely seen in court documents.
“Pennsylvania law requires physicians to provide customary care for living babies outside the womb. Gosnell chose instead to slit their necks and store their bodies in various household containers, as if they were trash,” stated the report.
The report provided detailed testimony from clinic staff who said that “killing large, late-term babies who had been observed breathing and moving was a regular occurrence” at the filthy clinic: one staffer said such events happened “hundreds” of times.
Another clinic worker, Tina Baldwin, told the jurors that Gosnell once joked about a baby that was writhing as he cut its neck: “that’s what you call a chicken with its head cut off.”

Why didn’t the clinic workers report this the first time it happened?
Isn’t it interesting how abortion and the funding for it seems targeted for certain demographics...
I often wonder how it is any different than a group like the Nazi’s targeting people.
It is amazing how little people realize just how they have been played by the Progressives and how they need abortions to increase because anyone born of the American experiment is a threat to their agenda.
The guy underpaid his staff. They didn't like it. They used cell phones to take pictures. The place was filthy and full of dead baby parts. If the sanitation workers union was required to be on staff, the working conditions and safety of the workers would have been tip-top.
Mark my words. What Obama says and votes on as a woman's right is not the issue at hand here.

This happens how many hundreds of times a day in America and in THIS case... we are supposed to be shocked?
what’s the difference between grinding up a baby still inside it’s mother and stabbing it to death once it’s outside, neither practicing any sort of humanity?
I fail to see how this is any worse than a “normal” abortion other than it was apparently unclean and this doctor was particularly demented.
The end result is equally grisly and I don’t see how anyone could possibly see that the “proper methods” are any less atrocious or evil.
The solution to that will be similar. Cell phones will be prohibited in the healthcare workplace. It will become a felony to have a cell phone in a healthcare providers office or treatment facility.
Targeting certain communities is exactly how Planned Parenthood got started.
They started with black communities.
However - in our area you can tell where their bread and butter is - just a half block stroll from the high schools.
That’s true - I forgot that unions were the answer to all our ills.
If someone were getting $50/hr to mop up the place we would never have heard a thing.
If people start using their heads and not let the court do it for them, the court may decide to rethink it's position.
Keep the thinking up folks. Brutal and honest reality, just what this horrible doctor ordered up.
If the death trains of Germany were run by Teamsters and the camps were run by SEIU, the jewish problem would have not existed. The missing persons would have merely been the result of overworked clerical staff with outdated record keeping equipment. With an adequate budget, such clerical errors would be resolved going forward.

How is that any different from partial birth abortion? How much of the child’s feet are “out?”
Several groups and agencies knew this was happening and did NOTHING. Absolutely NOTHING. Hypothetical question: I find out my neighbor has murdered someone and is planning to murder another person. If I don’t report this knowledge, aren’t I as legally responsible for the murder? I predict nothing will happen to the people in the agencies. I also predict the so called “doctor” will not get much of a sentence either... here on Earth. I think I know his sentence after he leaves our Earth. Just a thought.
I haven’t heard anything about this on the news. Seems to me it should be everywhere and PETA should be involved because this doctor actually likened a dying newborn to a chicken with it’s head cut off, which means the doctor must have witnessed at sometime in his life the beheading of a chicken. But then again we are awaiting the transfer of Gabby to Houston, so she can begin her rehabilitation, get back to Congress and vote to protect chickens and abortion doctors.
Glad to see someone make a correlation between what happened here with what happened in Tucson.
It's interesting (but not surprising) that when a nut like Loughner loses it and kills some people with a gun that the left immediately blames the fact that guns are available, to call for "common sense" gun control, but when murders like this happen all you hear are crickets.
I think this case is a good opportunity to call for "common sense" abortion control. Sure, maybe most doctors are not breaking the law but since it's possible that they will, we should place some strict limits of abortions.
Perhaps we could start with a permit process for those seeking abortions. Maybe a three day waiting period. A background check. A national registry. Mandatory training classes for those seeking an abortion.
The blacks are completely hopeless, especially with criminals of their own kind like like Sharpton, Obama, and this monster exploiting them.
Later term abortionist Warren Hern, through his mouthpiece, Time magazine, is trying to spin that late term abortion is safe - period - and that this particular butcher did not use “safe methods”. Abortion is never safe for the baby, and the libtards can spin, spin, spin, this is murder, pure and simple. As for this being about “poverty”, libs like killing poor black babies because at heart they are eugenicists. The ugly secrets of the abortion industry have been exposed. I am sure that Slate magazine will also have a glowing piece on the glories of abortion.
