A survivor of the 1989 Tiananmen Square massacre in China appealed to President Barack Obama during a press conference on Tuesday to push Chinese President Hu Jintao to end the practice of forcing women to have an abortion as part of China's one-child-per-couple policy.
“President Obama, we’re speaking to you as the president of this great nation, we also speak to you as a great father for your two beautiful children,” said Chai Ling, who came to the United States in 1990 and founded All Girls Allowed, a Christian organization that helps Chinese victims of forced abortions and sterilization in China and works to end the practices.
“Just imagine, just imagine, among your two beautiful children, all you are allowed to have is one; the other one has to be put to death,” Ling said.
“And President Obama, just imagine, among your two beautiful girls, if none of them would be allowed to live because they are only, and only because they are girls.”
Ling began her remarks by citing chilling statistics about the forced abortion and sterilization policy in China.

Given his earlier track record regarding unwanted kids, he’d probably relish the thought.
Those Obama girls are so often the example. They’re the ones who shouldn’t be “punished with a baby”, but who might be excess under China’s mandatory abortion policy (is that version of pro-abortion still considered pro-choice to the libs?), and who get the limelight when Michelle talks about kids being fat. With all that discussion, much of it initiated by the parents in campaign mode, the press manages not to get too negative or personal when discussing Obama’s kids. I’m sure they will give Sarah’s kids the same consideration once Sarah declares as a candidate.

Silly question. Members of the Party aren’t held to those rules. These rules are just for the proles.
One problem. Obama is a sociopath. He has no empathy, and as a malignant narcissist, he thinks only of himself. The dissident’s words will fall on deaf ears, unfortunately.
I "imagine" this guy forgot that little speech. As if Hussein could be bothered with the abortion issue enough to speak to Hu Jintao and as if Hu Jintao cares what Hussein says about anything.
I wasn’t sure how to articulate that point, but the irony of appealing to Obama for help on this issue is striking.
Yeah probably all he heard was “blah, blah, blah, blah, blah...” all the while just nodding his head every once in a while and thinking in his head, “I wonder if I could catch some hoops today?”
His arrogance is astounding.

You are absolutely right. If a malignant narcissist perceives a criticism, they’ll first and foremost tune it out, and secondly, they’ll do one of two things. If possible, they will harm the critiquer—for instance, they’ll ban him or her from the press plane, if they happen to be a reporter. If they can’t personally hurt the person, they’ll just ignore them and encourage others to do likewise.
I wonder what they talk about with their kids over dinner, if any of these hate-filled liberal journalists have kids that they haven't aborted.

Imagine if the Obama’s were Republicans. Saturday Night Live would have a guy in a wookie costume and a boob belt on the show every night. Those homely daughters would have their looks ridiculed and every schoolyard spat would get 24/7 news coverage. Obama himself would get the Bush treatment.
