“I thought at one point she claimed she had seen it”
I have poked around and can not find where Lingle made that claim herself. I checked the older blogs that followed every word, and this transcript is all that I can find. I do know that obama followers made the claim that she had - based on this exact interview.
I still cannot find a credible quote or account where Lingle stated she put her own eyes on it.

That could be exactly right. Something that never happened was reported as fact.
If the left has made the claim she said she had seen the docs., then to the left it is just as good as true.
I’d still be willing to bet the left claims she had confirmed the BC was there and she had destroyed it or had it destroyed.
