25 * 37 miles * 7” (Average elev rise)= x cubic feet It's bigger than that. The magma chamber is 4 to 6 miles below the surface, and is lifting the area above it. So the calculation becomes (area affected) * depth of magma chamber, which gives you around several thousand cubic miles of rock being raised by 7", which is a pretty huge amount of potential energy being displayed.

OK.... that is correct. My calculation turns out to be only the net increase and is in fact not the total volume.
