“Liberal” was stolen by leftist totalitarians, they sullied the name, everyone hates them now, and “Liberal” is anathema.
Leftist totalitarians own “Liberal”, and etymology or history aside, I say we paint them with their failed ideology and adopted label daily.
Sounds good to me. So long as ‘liberal’ always occurs in the same phrase as ‘totalitarians’ or ‘fascists’. Need to make sure the proper degree of precision is present or the less attentive may not notice.
