Hawaii Gov. Neil Abercrombie suggested in an interview published today that a long-form, hospital-generated birth certificate for Barack Obama may not exist within the vital records maintained by the Hawaii Department of Health.
Abercrombie told the Honolulu Star Advertiser he was searching within the Hawaii Department of Health to find definitive vital records that would prove Obama was born in Hawaii, because the continuing eligibility controversy could hurt the president's chances of re-election in 2012.
Donalyn Dela Cruz, Abercrombie's spokeswoman in Honolulu, ignored again yesterday another in a series of repeated requests made by WND for an interview with the governor.
Toward the end of the interview, the newspaper asked Abercrombie: "You stirred up quite a controversy with your comments regarding birthers and your plan to release more information regarding President Barack Obama's birth certificate. How is that coming?"
In his response, Abercrombie acknowledged the birth certificate issue will have "political implications" for the next presidential election "that we simply cannot have."

Suggesting he was still intent on producing more birth records on Obama from the Hawaii Department of Health vital records vault, Abercrombie told the newspaper there was a recording of the Obama birth in the state archives that he wants to make public.

I am 64 years old and, if I were president, there are still friends, relatives, and neighbors in my life who would be very pleased to testify of my natural born citizenship.
In the absence of American citizen witnesses it is reasonable to demand the **lesser** standard of producing a few **COMMON** government certified documents.
You use the same talking points over and over and over again. And...We here on Free Republic repeatedly trounce them. Doesn't this job get tiring for you? Honestly...It is time you checked in for new talking points.

Have you got a link for Issa’s list? I would very much like to read more about it.
The new Governor just needs to call up Dr. Fukino or walk over to the office of Alvin T. Onaka, the Registrar of Vital Statistics and ask them where the Obama birth certificate is located in the files.
Politicians...you have to deal with them like two year olds.
Maybe she boxed it up and took it with her when she vacated the premises with the new regime coming in.
And if Abercommie wants to get a little mnore ambitious maybe he can just walk down the hall to speak with his No. 2 Lt. Gov. Schatz and ask if whether he refused to certify Obama to be placed on the ballot in 2008 and if so, based on what grounds?

I don’t mind getting “trounced.” I don’t see this as a contest. I just state my personal opinions and try to back them up with a few facts when I can, here and there. One of the thousands of wonderful things about America is that this is where people are free to have divergent views on issues.
Feel free to simply ignore my posts if they don’t sit well with you as vehicles for discussion.

Issa has stated that his committee isn't the one that would/should investigate Barry's eligibility. Read: he wont do it.
Think about it. The reason he, nor Boehner (etc) will not investigate the issue is because THEY were part of the 111th Congress that certified the fraud. Think they're going to open up an investigation that would show that THEY didn't do their job and that THEY are at least a part of the problem in the first place? Not going to happen. No way, no how. At the end of the day, they too are politicians who will cover their butt's all the way.
Unfortunately, the only chance the issue will get Congressional play prior to the 2012 election, is if the Freshman (who were not complicit in this massive fraud) get involved and lead the investigations.
As for that top 10 list....
They were suggestions (that are "...ripe for investigation for Issa and other congressional Republicans") by a writer at Human Events:
They (Issa, etc) could always claim they believed there was no issue (even though they were getting letters from their constituents to the contrary).
Governor Lingle, it seems, like all the Republicans are playing the game of “don’t ask, don’t tell.”
As long as they don’t get caught actually knowing for themselves that Obama is not a constitutional president, they can’t be associated with the fraud. So all of them deny they have any doubt that Obama is a National Born Citizen.
They lie. They let Juan McCain shout them down (questions about hidden birth qualifications and background) when he was running for President and now they are in Juan’s slimmy boat. Juan reached across the aisle one to many times.
If the colb that Obama produced on his Fight the smears website is a forgery. There are issues that go way beyond public opinion of his true background.
Somebody/many are in BIG trouble.
