We are very pleased to announce that Congresswoman Michele Bachmann (MN-6) will be the keynote speaker at the 2011 Rose Dinner. The event will be held on January 24, 2011 in the Regency Ballroom of the Hyatt Regency on Capitol Hill, 400 New Jersey Avenue NW, Washington, DC 20001. The social hour will begin at 6:00 PM, followed by the Opening Prayer and Dinner at 7:00 PM.
Congresswoman Bachmann has distinguished herself as a pro-life leader in Congress, as attested to by her rating of 0 from the National Abortion Rights Action League (NARAL). First elected in 2006, Congresswoman Bachmann has developed a reputation as a "principled reformer" who stays true to her conservative beliefs while pushing for real reform of the broken ways of Washington.
Congresswoman Bachmann is a graduate of Anoka High School and Winona State University. Bachmann and her husband, Marcus, live in Stillwater where they own a small business mental health care practice that employs 42 people. The Bachmanns have five children, Lucas, Harrison, Elisa, Caroline, and Sophia. In addition, the Bachmanns have opened their home to 23 foster children, which has inspired Congresswoman Bachmann to become one of Congress leading advocates for foster and adopted children, earning her bipartisan praise for her efforts.
The 29th annual Rose Dinner will be the culminating event of three days of pro-life activities in our nations capitol. It is held every year on the evening following the annual March for Life. Musical entertainment will be provided by the Sounds of Liberty from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia.
Tickets may be purchased by clicking on the Rose Dinner Tickets button on the main menu. The cost is $75 if purchased in advance, or $100 if purchased at the door.
Bachmann for President!
Beware, congresswoman, when the media is finished skewering Mrs. Palin they will be coming after you. Civility be damned...
“...they will be coming after you. Civility be damned...”
Any and every candidate who has is conservative, has an (R)next to their name or is affiliated with the Tea Party will be attacked. After a while the normal segment of the population will see right through that.
Hey Michele, WHERE WERE YOU TO DEFEND SARAH!!!!!
And it looks like we're doing a pretty good job.
Michele Bachmann is impervious to the MSM's attempts to belittle her, to ridicule her, to lampoon her, to berate her.
Bachmann is IMPERTURBABLE!
She ain't afraid of no talking heads anywhere, and has frequently used her airtime on MSNBC to cogently present her talking points, program & philosophy. She'd fearlessly go on any show on any station and there's NO "deer STUCK in the headlights" persona from her.
EVER.
*ping*
Michele gets attacked all the time. Palin doesn’t respond to attacks on Bachmann either.
Perhaps the two women can handle things without getting into pissing matches with the media.
