More eyes on Bachmann's next visit to Iowa

St. Paul, Minn. — When U.S. Rep. Michele Bachmann speaks Friday, Jan. 21 at an Iowans for Tax Relief fundraiser in Des Moines, her appearance will garner even more attention than usual.

Bachmann regularly travels the nation appearing at conservative gatherings. But this week's trip to Iowa is being watched closely because the Minnesota Congresswoman has not ruled out a run for president next year.

No stranger to the national political spotlight, Bachmann is a sought-after speaker and a tea party favorite who can easily fire up crowds and raise millions with her message of limited government and lower taxes.

Now that Bachmann's name is on the list of potential 2012 presidential candidates, her trip to Iowa attracted even more attention because the Iowa caucuses represent the nation's first political contest.

"People are taking Congresswoman Bachmann's trip to Iowa seriously because she's taking it seriously," University of Minnesota Political Scientist Kathryn Pearson said.

Pearson said Bachmann could be testing the presidential waters for lots of reasons, including a desire to become even more well-known.

Either one is fine with me. Just as long as it ain’t Rudy, Huck, or Mitt.

During the vote on Obamacare, Bachmann came out on the southside balcony of the capitol and opened the doors wide so that the vociferous sound of Tea Party protestors could be heard into the house chamber. The crowd went absolutely wild when she did that. A priceless moment. She’s a great patriot.

I was around for Reagan and Palin is Reagan in High Heels! She is better looking, but Reagan was not in his prime.

Palin is quicker in getting her words out than any politician in the last 50 years, this is a sign she says what she believes! Finally, someone who tells the Truth!

Some people seems to think a woman can’t run this country, that’s another reason why she needs to be the first woman President!

She would do a lot to hurt the men having sex with men lifestyle, Normal would be back in again! That’s probably the biggest reason that the anti Palin freepers keeping spurring out all the same negatives Reagan lived with, yes, our token liberal democrat Trolls and with their sick lifestyle!

Something just occurred to me... I'll bet that MSNBC somehow, some way, will make sure that Rep. Michele Bachmann's coffers are brimming fill, spilling over, to encourage her to announce her candidacy for the presidency.

Because it would turn around the lousy ratings for MSNBC.... and would give new life to Mr. Bo-Tingles Matthews.
