Andrew Sullivan: Palin Is Playing Games And Doing Performance Art
by Matt Schneider | 12:23 pm, January 16th, 2011
Frequent Sarah Palin critic and Senior Editor for The Atlantic, Andrew Sullivan, did not disappoint in his appearance on The Chris Matthews Show. In responding to Palins video response to the Arizona shooting, Sullivan dismissed Palin as a political game-player who should have realized that I dont think this was the week to play a game.
Sullivan said Americans are sick of games in politics and was disgusted that Palin, in her video, was playing games a la Karl Rove and doing performance art, which is what this was about her, and actually applying the term blood to herself as opposed to [the victims in Arizona]. CNN Reporter Gloria Borger added that she spoke to many Republicans, all who agreed this was not a good week for [Palin].
Regardless of the political wisdom of Palins video, whether it truly was a political game or merely an attempt to emphatically defend herself from the malicious accusations against her, is a question that will likely continue to be debated. Well at least until Palins next public statement.

Obviously Andrew got stiffed on his complimentary funerally t-shirt. He'll probably have to score his on Ebay.
Civility.
You gotta ask yourself: "Why are they so afraid of her?"
The answer, of course, is because they know that she is eminently electable, and that her election would mark the death-knell of their authoritarian-socialist dreams.
Right. And Andy Boy is rapidly descending into irrelevance.
CNN Reporter Gloria Borger added that she spoke to many Republicans, all who agreed this was not a good week for [Palin].
So she talked to Mit and Huck, big whoop.
tired of games in politics..
‘drain the swamp’ ring a bell, Andrew?
no controlling authority?
put some ice on it?
Funny. She must be talking to the same REpublicans that have ALWAYS disliked her. FYI, spoke to many friends this weekend and the subject of Palin came up. These folks are Republicans but are in the Palin cant win camp. To everyone that I spoke with they were appalled at the way she was treated and LOVED her speech, so much in fact they are reconsidering her as an option.

I guess not the media was charging her of murder, would you have a good week. Dipshit
Just as they did with the race card, the white liberal loons are quickly wearing out their PDS Trash Palin card. It’s the same old tired BS all the time. Andy needs to get himself a hobby. People just aren’t reading this kind of tired old liberal crap anymore.
Sullivan is sometimes considered a pioneer in political weblog journalism, being one of the first prominent political journalists in the United States to start his own personal blog.[citation needed] He is a former editor of The New Republic and the author of five books."
Oh Andrew, performance art is “everyday politics”.
Why should only one side get to play?
He sounds like he's projecting. He must of had a bad night of sex.
That’s rich. A journalist accusing someone else of playing games and performance art.
He needs to look at his god- Barack Obama- talk about “performance art” that guy has it down.
Bingo. How is it that a private citizen who holds no elected office, and is not running for any office at this time posting a responce to media attacks on a private social network are target #1 for the beltway Dems (and a lot of Pubs too)? Amazing. I can’t remember anything like it.
why would anyone even give that queer the time of day
Andrew just pretending to be a journalist, probably not even his own story, his daughter most likely wrote it for me.
Sullivan is so obsessed with Palin it’s disturbing. I think the guy is a sicko.
