Andrew Sullivan: Palin Is “Playing Games” And “Doing Performance Art”

Frequent Sarah Palin critic and Senior Editor for The Atlantic, Andrew Sullivan, did not disappoint in his appearance on The Chris Matthews Show. In responding to Palin’s video response to the Arizona shooting, Sullivan dismissed Palin as a political “game-player” who should have realized that “I don’t think this was the week to play a game.”
Sullivan said Americans are sick of games in politics and was disgusted that Palin, in her video, was “playing games a la Karl Rove and doing performance art, which is what this was – about her, and actually applying the term ‘blood’ to herself as opposed to [the victims in Arizona]“. CNN Reporter Gloria Borger added that she spoke to many Republicans, all who agreed “this was not a good week for [Palin].”
Regardless of the political wisdom of Palin’s video, whether it truly was a political “game” or merely an attempt to emphatically defend herself from the malicious accusations against her, is a question that will likely continue to be debated. Well at least until Palin’s next public statement.

Games, performance art, reverse psych is played all the time.
But nobody ever thinks about it.
Each side of the aisle engages in it and the sheep on both sides deny it.
That is how we ended up in this mess.
You want to see an example of a raving, detached from reality lunatic who could kill a major political figure due to his exaggerated perception of political rhetoric?
Look at Andrew Sullivan—Palin had better get a restraining order to keep this loon at least 5 miles away from her at all times.
This from the man who, of all the political, professional and personal angles he could possibly have chosen to investigate and attack her on when John McCain chose her for his running mate, chose about the least sane one possible. (Well, attacked her on it, anyway. I know he still in his heart of hearts belives Trig is not Sarah Palin’s son, but I’m not sure that even two and a half years on, he’s made any attempts whatsoever to factcheck it for himself.)
So the Democrat Politicians(including the Sheriff) IN OFFICE use the MSM/Nationwide TV to make a POLITICAL attack on Sarah Palin (not in office, not running for any office yet). She defends herself on FACEBOOK, and they claim she is using the incident as a political tool.
This is the first time in history (AFAIK) that a NON-RUNNER is viewed as the primary opponent by one of the parties (actually, both. Just don’t tell anyone)

Palin makes the leftards furious because she refuses to play the game by their rules.
When attacked, she doesn’t get defensive; she attacks right back. When they change the subject, she doesn’t get distracted; she stays on message.

Andrew Sullivan is the strangest little man. Do you ever notice he wears giant lifts on his shoes so that he can sit with the big boys and girls? And that beard looks more like a thousand bees on his face. He’s should not even be allowed to talk about Sarah much less appear on national tv given his bizarre, sicko ideas about her.
