The ad nauseum use of the phrase “civil discourse” and related phrases is getting very old. It will be the centerpiece of obama’s SOTU.
I imagine Deputy Dipshirt will be whitewashing everything this kid did, like being invoved in the hopey changey campaign? Like to see if his name ever turned up on their volunteer lists. He was a lefty that went off the tracks. Can we still question liberals in this new age of tolerance?

Months ago Palin mentioned she was receiving help from numerous sources to improve her knowledge on various issues and to solidify her thinking on items she felt she needed more information on.
Whoever she has helping, it’s working. With almost two years to go Palin today has better credentials and understanding of how things work, and don’t work, and she’s already better than the current crop of Republican candidates.
I’m not on a Palin bandwagon yet either. I prefer to wait to see who is running and what they bring to the table. But I also believe anyone else will have to be better than Palin to win the nomination. By her actions and presence, Palin raises the bar for every other candidate.
Which is why we need to stay on message and not let this Tuscon distraction divert us. This is simply a smokescreen to allow them to steal our Country.
They need to explain why we are supposed to pay $5/gal and like it. Our leaders need to stay focused and not let the establishmedia fill the echo chamber. We need to explain the connection between high energy prices and high unemployment.

There is another important reason why the MSM is upset with Palin. She reached the people without the MSM being involved. And she did it with video and very effective video at that. This is a major breakthrough. The absolute power of the MSM to control access to the American people has been breached. God bless Sarah Palin for this important achievement!
I heard, in passing somewhere, that the Supreme Court wasn’t going to show up at the SOTU.
I hope not, after what Obama did last year.
How else you gonna stop this kiind of stuff unless by taking a stand?

Great post and right to the point. GW is no longer around they have Palin now.The rats will never stop beating on her we have to make them pay a price every time they do.We do it by exposing who they are and who Palin is.

They always seem to fall for this kind of junk. I guess they’re afraid the media will criticize them for refusing the olive branch.
Their response should be: we have no objections to sitting next to Democrats, but it will take more than changing the seating arrangement to undo the damage done by the Democratic congress.
How the hell can she stay out of it? She is receiving an increase in death threats that started just hours after the shooting.
She did absolutely nothing wrong before or after the shooting. The Dems and the MSM hate her for one very big reason, i.e., she is a major political force who can raise lots of money for GOP candidates. The GOP establishment dislikes her because they don't control her, but they know that they can't attack her directly. So now we have weasels like Kristol, Christie, and the like indirectly attacking her for the timing or advisability of her response.
When I hear so-called Reps and conservatives calling for the toning down of our political rhetoric including Palin in the mix, then I know what their real agenda is.
I keep repeating about what the neighbor to Jared Loughner said:
Jared went from great jazz player to mass murderer in two years.
How that happened is the real story and someone will tell it one day.
Christie claimed he got property taxes lowered and improved the horrible business tax ranking - from 50th to 48th worst in the nation. No?
Repubs in power think if they just try to get along then ANDNC won’t hate them. They’re going to hate you anyway, give them a reason.

This(the fact that she is getting so many death threats) is a much bigger story that the way the rats have spun what pain said in her 8 minute video. Really pisses me off. Also lets you know who and what the other side is—America haters all.
I’m with you. She’s got advisors and they’re doing a great job. Don’t know who they are, but they’ve got a finger on the pulse of the Tea Party.
DEFEND YOURSELF....Dubya’s method of staying silent during attacks was neither noble or something to emulate.

You can believe her quitting the Alaskan Governorship was a way to get around the left’s plan to destroy her through frivolous lawsuits.

Lookit, liberals compose about20% TOPS, of this country. All they have is the kind of stuff they are doing. The Media becomes part of it because they got to feel important.

You bet it will! Since Obama got such good reviews on his Tucson speech, he’ll run with this theme as long as he can. But I guess it’s better than the Republicans can’t drive theme. This guy is such a deluxe simpleton. Oops, was I being uncivil?
Age nineteen is a difficult year for everyone approaching adulthood. Calling them “sophomores” isn’t an accident; it is a time of foolish activity. People who are going to exhibit mental/neurological problems often hit the wall in this year.
I totally agree with you that Rudy lives in a different world than does Christie,and has a lot more executive experience.
