After 2 years of unrelenting vitriol against republicans reported with a straight face, the DNC says we must now have civility and that word is the first one out of every MSM interviewer.

civil tone, civil discourse, tone down the debate, come together, blah, blah, blah.....are the Repub's and Dem's talking about a symbolic "coming together" for the State of the Union? Gillibrand, D NY, mentioned something about dem's and repub's not sitting on one side vs. the other during the speech. Maybe they should take it a step farther and all hold hands. Wouldn't that be so Sweeeetttt.

Debbie W. Shultz - criticizes Boehner not changing the name "job killing" somethingorother. Horrors!

Bush never defended himself......Sarah does. I think she should. No one can take a constant pounding in the media, nor should they. I don’t care what the pundits determined was already decided, she had every right to say what she wants and she did an excellent job. Good for her. I guess the panel was offended that she didn’t leave it up to them to defend her. LOL

Yes, and one more example of unintended consequences pushed by the Democrats.

And yeah, it’s up to us the voters to determine who is qualified......it’s called a campaign. Sadly, too many voters are unqualified to do that, but that is our process.

The issue is not smoking, it’s about government control. If government can tell you when you can or cannot do something they can do it with something else. And on, and on, and on.

bingo! Plus it's any easy source of gov't revenue since smokers are in the minority and can't stop the majority from raising the taxes.

The GOP has got to do better in 2012 than Pawlenty - how about Bachman?

The Round table roundly criticizing Palin for not allowing her allies in the media to defend her, what allies?

That's when I decided that the Sunday shows are irrelevant to me.

If the Fox panel believes that Sarah Palin has allies who can act as spokesmen to the eyes and ears of the politically tuned-in, then they are as deluded as the bulk of the "commentators" on the other decidedly left-leaning shows.

Also, did I hear Brit mention that the Republicans are going to co-mingle at the SOTU gathering? Tomorrow will have to be a Call your Congressman day for me.

Or maybe he is advertising NJ to bring in businesses and bring back the loss in population. His honest, no messing around attitude is attractive to many and only can help NJ. Show appearances are a no-cost way to advertise. You would have to admit that he has done much more in one year than Corine and McGreevey put together, even with his tv appearances. My guess is Christie is a real leader that sticks to real business instead of making deals to pay union girlfriends and meeting “friends” in truck stops.

Fox sucked today. The panel discussion about Sarah was meaningless, mean-spirited and totally unworthy of this fine woman. And for Juan Williams - of all people - to denigrate Sarah because she dared to fire back at her critics! Fans of talk radio know that Williams was ALL OVER THE PLACE after his firing, blasting his critics at NPR. When does the self-delusion and hypocrisy end??!

And Brit Hume’s - oh, so softspoken, I’m-so-sorry-but-she’s-a-loser and, of course, the female Quisling Mara Liasson chiming in on Sarah’s so-called self-pity.

And then, to top it off, the show ended with Chris Wallace showcasing his wife’s cooking abilities and pumping her new cookbook! What a disgrace.

Its funny you took that as a jab at Palin, I took it as a jab at Obama. Watch it again you may see it differently.

Mara, Juan and every other liberal this morning; the Republicans need to detail what they will replace Obamacare with.

Intelligent conservative response: Hold up some wall calendars (the kind you used to get from funeral homes and real estate agents, the ones with seasonal pictures) and say, "The benefits of Obamacare don't come in until 2014. That's 3 wall calendars from now. 36 months. That gives us 2 years to develop a reasonable alternative, write a bill, have all the congressmen read it and understand it, and then vote on it. That's how grown-ups should make major changes."

Al Shaprton on the civility panel? I guess David Duke was busy and could not make it.

Gov. Pawlenty - yawn. He's like the Powerpoint presentation that puts airport security to sleep in the TV commercial.

If Barry could have his way there would be ‘involuntary commitment’ laws just like they had in the old Soviet Union. The rational? Anyone who doesn't agree 100% with his socialist agenda is obviously crazy.

Obviously! "involuntary committment" is a law that should be rarely and very judiciously used. I can see how it would helpful in certain extreme situations to prevent harm to others or self-harm by that person.....to force a dangerous person to get help. Many mentally ill people pose no risk of violence to society, in general. The ones that do, have likely isolated themselves from family/friends/society with their behaviors long before they commit any violence. Unfortunately, there are no easy answers with mental illnesses.

I shouted to husband, who sits over by his computer providing his own commentary, you folks would love him....YOU MEAN IN ALL OF AMERICA THEY CAN’T GET ANOTHER COMMENTATOR THAN AL SHARPTON?

Husband responds “this is the guy who caused a riot at Freddie’s Mart saying it was run by Jews. He’s the guy who called the prosecutor a rapist”...heh, husband knows a thing or two, you should smile. Brain infection didn’t hurt a thing.

Oh, and now I gotta stand up in front of my church and tell about his brain infection as part of comething called an “offertory reflection initiative”...you can’t make this stuff up. Anyhow, how long will they get away with this?

Al Sharpton gets legitimized somehow when they have him as guest.

But I guess that’s their plan, huh?

It was right after that when Eric Fuller stood up and yelled "you are dead!" to the Tea Party guy. Of course ABC edited that part out completely.

Thanks. Christiana did refer to the incident, but didn't explain much of what happened except that the guy, Fuller, was involuntarily committed.

I took it as a direct jab at Sarah Palin. Christie praises Obama and the subject and question was “why not run against him while you’re hot?”

For what it’s worth, I took that jab as one for 0 too.

On Pawlenty, is it just me or does anyone else see him as a Huckabee clone?

Whatever Sarah says or does will be met with insane outrages. All the cool kids attack Sarah these days, and apparently Juan Williams wants to join the cool kids club.
