Fox sucked today. The panel discussion about Sarah was meaningless, mean-spirited and totally unworthy of this fine woman. And for Juan Williams - of all people - to denigrate Sarah because she dared to fire back at her critics! Fans of talk radio know that Williams was ALL OVER THE PLACE after his firing, blasting his critics at NPR. When does the self-delusion and hypocrisy end??!
And Brit Hume’s - oh, so softspoken, I’m-so-sorry-but-she’s-a-loser and, of course, the female Quisling Mara Liasson chiming in on Sarah’s so-called self-pity.
And then, to top it off, the show ended with Chris Wallace showcasing his wife’s cooking abilities and pumping her new cookbook! What a disgrace.
Will watch it here now....
Why the Repbs and conservatives trash her is beyond me...what is the point?
Why not back her up on her strengths? If you don’t think she can make it as Pres..well, ok, valid point that some would agree with or disagree..but this slamming her on the right is disgusting.
the right will lose the women’s vote over this crap...the mantra at election time will be Republicans= white angry males...
What a phoney-baloney he turned out to be. "We report, you decide," my ass! He's going to report things that support his conclusion she's a loser. He'll ignore things that confirm that she connects with Americans regardless of race, class, or sex, on a level that hits home.
One of the things I like best about Palin is there's nothing of the "mommy" or "grown-up" or "daddy" about her, despite the stupid "Mama Grizzly" references. I hate it when the left or the right (most often seen among Romney supporters, incidentally) throws around terms like "Let the grown-ups take charge!" It's condescending, presumptuous, and counter-productive. We none of us are children. I like that Palin comes across as a person equal to all of us. I believe she comes across that way because she is humble enough to realize that it's true.
