So someone who actively supports killing, gets their own column while someone who no direct link to killers and uses metaphors that seem violent gets death threats.

What is this piece of crap doing outside of a jail cell?

Beats me.

I remember in the 70's going into the PO every day to pick up my mail (small town).

There they were, every day: Bernardine Rae Dohrn, William Ayers - up on the wall, "Wanted - FBI".

Rudd I don't remember being up on the wall as much, but I guess that's because he went in earlier.

But these guys were bad asses. Way bad, scary bad: bombs, bank robberies with machine guns, possible SLA style shootouts with the cops.

And then they came in and got....less time than a lot of minor drug charges bring. And walked.

I couldn't understand that in 1981. How the hell could that happen?

Now I do: friends in high places, the right parents. It was Vietnam, man, everyone went a bit crazy. "National Healing" and all that. Carter pardons the draft dodgers.

The War is over. All is forgiven, all is forgotten. Now you can just reminisce to some TV interviewer, or write a book.

Right. Got it. What about the people who got dead? They get to resurrect, kinda like an edgy Hollyweird murder mystery?

Nope. They're still dead. And the perps...walk around as semi-celebrities?

Laws my butt. Those freaks should be doing 75 to Life at the Supermax in Illinois.

To quote Walter Matthau in Grumpy Old Men:

"Here's some matches. Set yourself on fire."

I wonder exactly what impact he's really had on our public education system. It's for the worse, no doubt. But just how much damage did he do...???

Teaching math seems to be a non-controversial subject to teach.

Ask Theodore Ted Kaczynski (Harvard '62; Ph.D., Michigan, '67) about that.

You may reach him at his current address:

Ted Kaczynski
Register Number 04475-046
USP FLORENCE ADMAX
U.S. PENITENTIARY
PO BOX 8500
FLORENCE, CO 81226

It might be a good idea to have the bomb squad check any return mail from him CAREFULLY before opening it...

In case you forgot, that's the Unabomber.

Cheers!

He’s a slick little bastard. Just like his cohorts.
He’ll tell you he’s sorry and he’s regretted his actions.....but, he’s still a Leftist POS. He’s not offing cops, blowing up people or screaming Marxist slogans anymore. He’s gotten cute and wise to the fact that ‘if ya go carryin’ pictures of Chairman Mao, ya ain’t gonna make it with your fellow “proletariats”’.

Given the right, and safe, conditions, he’d be playing his role as “leader” with Ayers, Dohrn, 0bamao and others.

I knew this jerk back in the 60s, and also his friend Ted Gold, who thank goodness had an accident making a bomb.

I’m sure the Washington Post considers this distinguished commentary. WaPo is just as bad as the NY Times, but better managed. It will unfortunately take them much longer to vanish due to bankruptcy.

” three brilliant and passionate young people”

Passionate? Maybe.

Brilliant? Not so much. . .they blew themselves up, for key-rist, sakes.

Turned his life around?

Perhaps.

Question is: Would he have done so if the bomb went off as planned, murdering NCO’s and their dates/souses, instead of blowing up his “brilliant” friends.

I think not.

” ... bombs, assembled in a New York townhouse, exploded prematurely. Ted Gold, Diana Oughton and Terry Robbins - three brilliant and passionate young people who had decided that they must become terrorists - were killed.”

Apparently not quite brilliant enought to devise and assemble a pipe bomb properly. May they rot in Hell. Too bad Ayers and Dorn weren’t around for the send off.
