Cut EVERYTHING! 10% across the board and that’s just a good start! Like American tax payers are having to do as Obama’s weakened dollar and refusal to develop domestic energy sources is causing our fuel and food prices to skyrocket, while his bad fiscal policies and the threat of Obamacare drive people out of work.

As a government employee, higher taxes have been good for me.

Actually I would like to see taxes raised also, on the almost 50^ of people in this country who pay bo taxes. A flat tax of 10% whether your income was $1.00 or $1 billion.

I agree with that. Everybody should have to pay. We need to get rid of the IRS and all those stupid tax codes. That would get rid of one agency and a whole load of cr*p. Then either flat tax or national sales tax(you couldn’t cheat on that), that is locked into an amount that can’t be changed or never to exceed a certain percentage.

We must recognize that that 9% is the 1/11th of our society that are our betters; the elite who know so much more than we lowly workers could ever know. They talk and write for a living and are employed in such places as Harvard and Yale and the NYT.

We should be grateful they take our money and do such wonderful things with it.

I mean, after all, who better to decide what to do with the money you earn, you or someone like Maureen Dowd? Can there even be any question?
