I know many of you will disagree with this opinion. And let me be clear: I oppose Obama unreservedly on his socialist policies. But unlike the left, I look on substance and not personalities. For example, if a legislator advocates for strong enforcement of the borders, it's a good move regardless of whether there is an R or a D after their name. Ditto helping the military in the theatre of war and at home. And I oppose Peter King's gun stance while I approve of nearly every everything else on his agenda. Labels aren't important to me. Actions are.
So if this president delivers a good speech that honors the slain and the heroes that ran into harm's way to save their fellow Americans, I (and Glenn Beck, apparently) feel like it's appropriate to give credit where credit is due despite how fiercely I oppose Obama's legislation.
Contrast this with the automatic hateful knee-jerks of the left who baselessly tie the heinous shooting to Sarah and (most absurd of all) Glenn Beck himself.
Like I say, I know many of you will disagree with my (and Beck's) opinion here. Hopefully not to the point of being zotted :-). I feel like we are strong enough to debate this amongst ourselves. And believe you me I will still be actively involved in making sure the new Congress sticks to the job they were elected by US to do... bring this country back to its sane roots.
God bless you all and God bless America.

So, I guess to be Presidential you have to pass out campaign t-shirts and have a cheering crowd at a memorial service?
Prince Waleed got to him too?

The most memorable line of his speech has turned out to be a bold faced lie. Giffords did not open here eyes for the first time on Wednesday.

I’m sorry, but sometimes Glenn Beck is just too much for his own good. Read the piece from the American Thinker posted earlier about Chauncy Gardner.

I haven't heard Obama's speech but if it was good - so what? He was just meeting minimal duties of being President.
To: VictoryGal
No it just shows Fox and Beck are RINOs and Saudi Prince Al Waleed is the largest shareholder in Fox.
Beck is a fool as Obam’s gang has been has been all over the smears of Palin et al. Amazing how people are easily brainwashed by TV. I dumped TV over a year ago because it is all pro-Obama including Fox. Wake up and smell the coffee. TV is now ALL about propaganda and manipulation.
Obama is destroying the country - rapidly.
Beck has an admitted history of alcoholism and had a porn addition. He has issues plus he is a pal of O’Reilly another stooge for his boos Al Waleed.

Beck was wrong. Obama was “truly” the Campaigner-in-Chief, and out of place in a memorial service. He should have saved it for the campaign trail.

Look. All Obama did on Wednesday was to read what the TOTUS told him.
And he did it very well.
Apart from that - Beck and the rest of the toadies at Fox can KMA.

Our standard fpr Zer0 have sunken so low that for
him to do his job with some decency is applauded.
It was still an embarassing scene. Hooting and yelping college students is not appropriate for a memorial.
Cheap political opportunism.
But I am cynical. “together we strive”

He could remain "above the fray" as such because his minions performed their duties and performed them perfectly; presenting him with an opportunity to capture a bit of the old magic--the promise of the "post-partisan healer" that was promised in the campaign while still working to warp America into something it should not be.
In other words, "Mission Accomplished".
