JONESVILLE, LA (WAFB) - A member of the "Jena 6" finds himself in trouble with the law once again, after an apparent bar fight in Catahoula Parish.
Authorities confirmed Carwin Jones of LaSalle Parish was one of several people arrested on aggravated battery charges.
According to reports, U.S. marshals were called in to help with the arrests in connection with the bar room brawl.
Jones was 18 in 2006 when the Jena students were arrested for a fight that later turned into a huge civil rights issue in Louisiana.
Bar room brawl? Been there.
home town,,, bump,,,, Had to either bee the “Yellow Cat” ,”Downtown”, or “The Bar”.
All six will eventually wind up in jail for something or another.
Feds? Some of the fighters must have warrants. That’s the only way that makes sense.
Proving once again a leopard never changes its spots.
U.S. Marshalls?
I’m sure someone else started it. The Jena 6 are perfect angels who just happened to get picked on because they’re so meek and humble.

If you had to pick something to make a realistic movie over...from start to finish...it’s the Jena 6 episode. It was almost a year after everything settled...that you started to realize all the bogus stories and what really happened. Today....no one in that local area wants to hear the slightest mention of Jena 6, and most laugh over how it all started out.
As for the eventual outcome of the six? Yes, I’d kinda agree that most will spend time in jail and maybe the public will eventually agree that they had issues to start with, and just never realized it.

I was never in a 'Bar Room Brawl'.
But one New Years Eve I was involved in a brawl at a Outlaw Biker Clubhouse (now THAT'S a 'brawl'). Our MC Club was invited over to party with this other MC Club but our Pres didn't want to pay the $2.00 Cover for the free beer. He thought he should be comp'd out of respect.
So all of a sudden there's this HUGH fight and I see our Pres on the floor gettin' kicked in the head so I jump in asap. I tried stopping the kicking and played 'peacemaker' and got things settled down with the other MC Club's Pres. But what a New Years Eve Party that was. And I was on Crutches in a full length cast, pretty dumb for me to 'jump' in, but kinda funny now. (and my wife, then GF, was right behind me 'helping'. Now, she can't believe she did that :-))
When I was younger our next door neighbor's 18yo son died that way. Got in fight with two-three guys and was kicked to death. So that had to be in my subconscious.
