One of our very dear friends is a 3rd year Medical Resident at a major hospital in Wisconsin. She's studying Anesthesiology. She's also Canadian. She came here to escape the Canadian health care system.
This woman was shriekingly liberal 3 years ago. Now, not so much. She says things that would make me blush, if I could blush that is.
My ex-wife's family were *all* medical, from RNs to X-ray techs to EMTs, you name it. This was in the 80's when medicine was a great income and employers fought over you.
Why the hell would anyone entertain the medical profession now?
Until Obamacare is repealed, I would consider just going Klingon on the entire population, and let the sick die.
