Happy New Year, everyone!! Goodbye 2010, hello 2011, and welcome to the start of the 2012 presidential sweepstakes!!
And we have a lot at stake this election cycle. Namely, our freedom and our very right to exist as a constitutional free Republic!! The Marxist left is now making noises that our constitution is outdated, written in an ancient language that is too hard to understand, and is unnecessary. They want no restrictions on government power whatsoever and believe that there ARE no restrictions on government power whatsoever.
Proof of that is the ramrodding through of the unconstitutional Marxist ObamaCare system and his current scheme of "ruling" the country through his unaccountable czars and unelected regulatory bodies and not having to worry about the congress to pass HIS laws.
This must NOT be allowed to stand!! This would be a total overthrow of our constitutional Republic and everything it stands for!!
Consider the next two years as the battle for continued American freedom vs a complete Marxist takeover of our beloved country!!
Free Republic is needed now more than ever!! I'm hoping that we can continue building on our strengths, that we can focus on fighting to get constitutional conservatives elected, that we can do all we can to thwart Obama's Marxist takeover attempts, and that we can continue building our relationships with the various Tea Party groups and others to rally support for our constitutional conservative causes all across the fruited plain!!
God bless and thank you all very much for your continued support and for making Free Republic the premier God and Country constitutional conservative site on the Internet!!
God bless America!! May she always be free as God intended!!
And I did live in the Bay area in 1969...Oh the stories...Just watching them not participating...A certain sit-in in Golden Gate Park comes to mind. We wear riding bikes.....The smell wasn't coming from the individual’s clothes...In fact the band didn't even have any on....The fog on the Bay was not produced by the weather....AND all in a public place with LEO just observing and calling the ambulance when needed.
35 minutes or miles east of Tampa! Lakeland.
We will be in Tampa for Labor Day week!
Woo-Hoo!!!
ROLF. Hoosiermama!!! I didn’t want to get into anything in particular that I might have done, but you threw eggs! God love ya, girlfriend! LOL.
Oh, yes indeed, those awful hippies/peacenik/dopers were the worst. Stink? UGH. Dopers - acid-freaks - eyes that were dead. Sickening.
San Diego was a military town. U. S. Navy and Marine’s and still a small city. Not like San Francisco where you had the love-in’s. Yikes. I couldn’t have handled that.
That will be a good weekend for a Florida FReeper large get-together. When that happens, hotel or motel is in the cards. That 35 minute ride on a pretty much straight I-4, after a few totties for the body, has a tendancy to put curves in the interstate! Don’t need that!
Right, and as the date draws closer, Syncro will know the hotel details, and we’ll likely get a pretty good deal on a booking of rooms to stay where the action *is*.
Freedoms just another word for nothing left to lose:
Nothin left is all she left for me.
Feeling good was easy, Lord, when Bobby sang the blues.
Buddy, that was good enough for me;
Good enough for me and Bobby McGee.
La da da la la na na na
La da da na na.
La la la da, Me and Bobby McGee.
La la la la la da da da
La la la da da.
La la la da, Me and Bobby McGee.
LOL. You betcha!
