Let's sit together for State of the Union address (Sen. Mark Udall)
The Hill ^ | By Sen. Mark Udall (D-Colo.) - 01/12/11 03:48 PM ET

Posted on 01/13/2011 6:22:34 PM PST by Bronzy

Dear Majority Leader Reid, Speaker Boehner, Minority Leaders McConnell and Pelosi:

We, the undersigned members of Congress, believe that partisan seating arrangements at State of the Union addresses serve to symbolize division instead of the common challenges we face in securing a strong future for the United States.

I just hope the Repubs don’t fall for this patent BS. More so, I recommend that all of the Republicans in unison shout “YOU LIE” when nobama finishes. That should set the tone. These LIB/DIM losers hate America and hate Americans. That’s the bottom line.

I don’t know, I kind of like Sen. Udall’s idea. Just imagine each Democrat with a Republican on either side of him. What an opportunity to hassle the living hell out of them. I can see it now - fights breaking out all over the chamber as Odumbo drones on and on.

“Civility”

Republicans are so afraid of being tagged uncompromising by the Leftists.

Remember who brought you repubs to the dance...

“We won” in November...conservatives and the Tea Party, that is.
We’re alive and well....and watching your every move. You turn prissy and sweet to the very offal that’s responsible for the ruination of this great country....you’ll be left at the side of the road like the tramps you are.

Now that would be a truly clever judo move.

As it is, they should tell the Dems to stuff it.

Are they in kindergarten?
This is typical from the ‘arrested development’ crowd.

I listen to a lot of different talk radio while working. This just came up a couple of times. I don’t know how far it will go.

To: Bronzy; All

Didn’t one or more of the Supremes say that they would be inclined to skip the State of the Union address this time ‘round’ thanks to O’bama’s previous dress down?

Looked through Bing “news search” and the media has grabbed onto this meme as a way to shape their coverage.

Those incivil Republicans- well the conservative ones- tsk, tsk!

I am uncomfortable with the new congress. I believe as you, we are about to get screwed again. Blubbering Boehner doesn't make me feel safe.

“{Remember who brought you repubs to the dance...”

Seems it doesn't take them long to forget. However, where can we go? Guess we can keep demoting them until they realize we mean business.
