There was a famous spoof documentary about a rock band named This is Spinal Tap. One of the band members altered his amplifier so that the volume went to 11 instead of 10. Rock buffs get the joke.

I don’t watch a lot of movies, but I’ve heard of one called Spinal Tap, a satire on rock stars. Although the volume knob on guitar amplifiers only went up to a 10 setting, in the movie they had one that went to 11 (thus replies 4 and 6).
