Long story short: Man is out jogging when he is confronted by two "youths" who are out to rob him. One youth punches jogger in the face. Jogger pulls out a legally concealed .45 and ventilates youth. Youth assumes room temperature. Apoplectic British press call youthful mugger a "victim" and compares jogger who defended himself to Jared Loughner.

I have a feeling the incident will go a long toward cleaning up crime in the area.

Another way to give this article perspective:

Imagine you are a fairly small country with a fairly small army, but you have nuclear weapons. Now imagine another country with low WW I style technology is sending in a military force that is five times the number of people in your entire population.

What do you do? You nuke them, of course.

There is no “tit for tat” in self defense. You punch me, I punch you, etc.

IOW, if you are gonna attack someone, make sure you are better armed than they are.

Sounds like a good shoot to me. Anyone who thinks two punks can’t kill you with their bare hands is an idiot. First they knock you out (as threatened), and then you are at their mercy. Head stomps? Kicks? We’ve all seen the videos showing what these animals can do when they have you defenseles. (And no, I have no idea what race anyone was. Two punks threatening to “bam” and knock someone out while robbing them are animals. Period.)

Having been punched in the face and fearing his attacker was armed he pulled out a handgun from his pocket and shot dead the teenager who had hit him.
