Calls Mount for Sheriff Dupnik’s Resignation
FoxNation.com ^ | Jan 12

Posted on 01/12/2011 8:23:33 AM PST by JesseWatters

Since he first opened his mouth on Saturday night to address the nation about the terrible shootings at a Tucson Safeway, Sheriff Clarence Dupnik has been inaccurate, wrong, or completely biased in his handling of the case. Sheriff Clarence Dupnik must resign. Never have we witnessed a prominent public figure so inaccurately and viciously politicize a national tragedy like Sheriff Dupnik did this week. And in all of his statements he has either been wrong or misdirected. This bitter partisan must go...

A blog out there says things about you might not be true, Sheriff. It's just some guy's opinion at a blog that's been circulating. I mean, it would be quasi-journalistic malpractice of me to ignore that this is being said about you. So who knows? It might not be true. I guess we'll find out in due course. The most fake public official who reminds me of Sheriff Dupnik is a prosecuting attorney by the name of Mike Nifong of the Duke lacrosse case, the Democrat DA for Durham County now removed and disbarred. He was running for office at the time of the Duke lacrosse team rape case, of course. When is Sheriff Dupnik's next election, I wonder?

I think we are going to find out that Sheriff Dupnik and the Loughner family are intertwined in ways we have not yet imagined.

Something smells fishy in Pima County.

What's age got to do with it.

Magnus was 70s.

Josey Wales is now 80.....Popeye Doyle too.

George Washington was 67 last term.

Dupnik is 74....

Sheriff is a political office..in the South they were also the tax collector once...imagine that...scary.

He's not chasing 18 year old black crack dealers who run like Bob Hayes(Dallas Cowboy great from 60s..fastest man alive then) down the avenue and jumping hedgerows dodging shots from the Kel-Tec 9mm

Google this story though....even their stilted prioritizing to the left on search can't hide the outrage against this guy...man...that is sweet

And to think that BO called this nitwit, who may have screwed up the prosecution of this murderer with his partisan rant, to congratulate him last night.

What in the world did Dupnick do to merit praise....except fail to do his duty and arrest the shooter months ago, so that BO could have his Bill Clinton moment. I will not watch his performance tonight since it is obvious he’s taking acting lessons from Billy Jeff’s old tapes of the OKC bombing speech.

He needs to step down. He's an embarrassment to Arizona.

Sheriff Dopenik has been reelected repeatedly by the citizens of Pima County as their Sheriff. Remember that Tucson is the Berkeley of Arizona, home of the U. of AZ with flocks of liberal professors and brainwashed students. It also has a large Hispanic population and is a major corridor for Mexican drugs and illegals. I think Dopenik's just saying what he thinks will get him reelected.

If anyone is responsible besides the kid and the dope culture it is the sheriff. Seems like the kid had two arrests, was threatening people and the cops ignored it plus other things. I hope Rush and others hammer the POS sheriff.

Not only that, but the sheriff has been quoted in the press as saying that he let that murderous nut case off because his mother worked for the County administration, and is presumably a fellow Democrat. All he had to do was put one black mark on this lunatic's record, and the FBI wouldn't have issued him a gun permit.

The leftie parents, too. They had a murderous madman living in the house with them, worshipping a skull in the back yard, kicked out of college as a danger to his fellow students, and constantly threatening to kill people. And they did nothing.

Nobody would want to be responsible for turning their own child over to the law. But that sure would have been a lot better for all concerned, including their son, than just letting it all go and even telling the sheriff to give the kid a pass when numerous threats to kill people had been reported to him.

They kept letting Loughner go because a relative was on the county payroll....and I suspect a UNION member, too.

I think there should be an investigation into this sheriff after reports surfaced over the weekend that told of countless arrests of the shooter, but charges were never filed against him in any of the cases. Apparently, his mother worked in some supervisory capcity for the county- was this sheriff protecting her son??

We have a bunch of over the hill old farts in elected offices, at some time that needs to end, but of course, we have the special exceptions crowd that always screams for an exception.

To me he looks like a caricature actor who always plays the dumb or sleazy cop. Perhaps he's been type cast.

Sheriff Sputnik needs to be relieved of his duties and launched into space for permanent orbit

Gee, did I just contribute to the vitriol, Sheriff?
