Several dozen people showed up in front of KMJ Radio's studios in North Fresno on Tuesday night to protest what they call "vitriolic rhetoric" by station talk-show hosts.

The vigil and protest was organized by Fresno County Democratic Party officials, who wanted to get out the message that, in the words of another protester, "Words have consequences."

Liberals are more desperate to delegitimize conservative speech than ever before. It’s because they’re losing every national debate so badly. First it was the moronic Jon Stewart/Steven Colbert “Restore Sanity” rally (i.e. “Conservatives need to shut up”). Then it was the cretinous “No Labels” movement (i.e. “Conservatives need to shut up”). Now it’s the disgraceful and disgusting exploitation of a mass murder.

They have a plan. What will Obama say and what will his fellow travelers say in Arizona?? I have the uncomfortable feeling of having been caught flat footed. Will they be cable to sieze control of public opinion?

The “Candlelight Vigil” is in full swing in front of the KMJ Studios. Michael D. Evans and Linda Traynor, officials with the Fresno County Democratic Central Committee show up, but refuse to speak with Chris. Philip Teresi, Chris’ producer, tries unsuccessfully to draw any explanation for their presence. Billie MacDougall, a long-time Democratic Party activist, who said she is concerned “about the hate language that comes across KMJ all the time,” shows the courage of her convictions and spends a few minutes discussing the motivations of the protesters.
