Fox News' Trace Gallagher reporting via phone on the Sean Hannity radio show from Tucson says the parents of accused Rep. Giffords shooter Jared Loughner are blocking the FBI from entering their home.
Gallagher said Fox is sending a crew to the scene.
I don’t at all keep up with these things, so maybe you can enlighten me: are there different sets of laws for the murder or attempted murder of Federal officials/employees than there are for us commoners? I had no idea their lives counted more than or differently than ours.

Loughner’s friend claimed a journal exists that contains all of Loughner,s thoughts for the last year. I suspect it wasn’t found in the initial fbi search; thus the return.
I hear you and understand what your saying. I’ve lived in a few areas where I was not to fond of my neighbors either. What you’re saying is not the definition of antisocial. What’s being reported about this family is very different. They do not acknowledge their neighbors at all, even in common day greetings. Their son has some sort of shrine in the backyard and apparently has few if any friends. He just committed an apparently premeditated mass murder. This is beyond being eccentric, somethings not right. After reading further into the thread though it seems the parents did decide to talk to the agents who knocked on the door and this wasn’t some kind of barricade situation. Just beyond strange is all I’m saying. Personally I hope the family is clean in all this, they have more than enough to deal with.
Can you imagine what the shooter’s defense attorney would do if FBI entered w/out warrant. If this guy is guilty, he could use the technicality to walk.
