Wife of White House Aide Found Dead in Burning Car
Politics Daily ^ | January 10, 2011 | Christopher Weber

Ashley Turton, wife of the Obama administration's House of Representatives liaison, Dan Turton, was found dead in a burning car Monday morning, Roll Call and other news outlets are reporting.

Fire officials said it appeared the car crashed as it was pulling in or out of the garage behind a rowhouse in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Washington, D.C., at about 5 a.m. Neighbors dialed 911 after spotting the fire.

The body was discovered after fire crews doused the blaze. The fire also charred part of the garage. Nobody in the house was injured, fire officials said.

Ashley Turton worked as a lobbyist for the utility giant Progress Energy, according to Politico. She was a former staffer for U.S. Rep. Rosa DeLauro, D-Conn.

Metropolitan Police Lt. Nicholas Breul told Roll Call a joint investigation is underway. Homicide detectives were called to the scene.

"This could be just a tragic freak accident," Breul said, adding there was no indication that there was a crime committed.

The White House had no immediate comment on the incident.

From the blog...”The following is a partial list of deaths of persons connected to Barack HUSSEIN Obama during his time inside the United States.”

The “partial list” is scary enough. Wonder what the stats would be if the *outside of the United States* was included?

That was my first thought as well. Crashing while entering or exiting a garage, and you car goes up in flames? What the heck was she driving, a Pinto?

Are you suggesting that “civil unrest” is around the corner, and such a possibility is not limited to a novel?

In a word, yes.

Oh, I am certain significant unrest rebellion is coming, sooner than later. So many scenarios:

Civilian Americans defending the border on the scale of a battle (which I fully expect the government sends troops to suppress the citizens)

Race riot in one of the Muslim slums like Detroit requiring federal troops or a negotiated submission to Sharia law.

An assassin shoots up a tea party event.

An over zealous cop fires into a bunch of grannies at a tea party event.

A natural disaster of the scale of Katrina with the "victims" violently demanding the compensation for their plight.

Civil and global wars start in the strangest ways.

Perhaps I failed in my word choice.

I have never simply observed, as someone sitting in the bleachers at a football game might do. But trying to look at current events and treat them like catalysts in a novel-in-progress is much different than following the news and talking about it.

Some of my “if this were a novel” observations have been eerily close to developments revealed in the news in later releases.

And I am familiar with the Bible. I’ve read it multiple times. It’s always recommended reading.

Looks like a very hot fire. However...it doesn’t appear that she even tried to exit the vehicle in any way. Something doesn’t add up here folks.

Unbelieveable list! But scary enough to be true!

<><><><><

Google the first name on the list, Sarah Berkeley, and then maybe head over to amazon.com and look up her book.

There’s a reason the list is unbelievable. Because it literally is unbelievable.

I'm 66 years old, what the hell difference does that make? I was a Sargent in the USMC in the 1960's. I was stationed in Washington part of that time and had a Top Secret security clearance and a White House clearance. What else do you want to know?

A row house. I lived in one for quite a few years. I know what a row house is. If you read the original post that is what it says. How old are you?

Civil and global wars start in the strangest ways.

...tea, dumped over the side of a boat.

Anything more drastic is a potential catalyst. My wife thinks I am overreacting a bit, but I am watching the developments of the Tucson shooting, knowing full well that this could be a fuse on a powder keg.

With the other events around the country and the world, this is a recipe for extremes.

It does look like a slum. If I didn't read that it was her house, I would have thought she was there to buy drugs.

Fast enought to crash and literally burn?

Crash and burn mostly happens in movies, single car slow moving crash, almost certainly needed an accelerant.

I’m 63. A row house refers to the entire building. Reporters rarely detain individual addresses.
