So?...You are admitting that Obama wasn’t vetted! Wow!

This is progress and a step in the right direction. A few more baby steps and you will be a fully initiated birther! ;-)

The fact is Obama has been politely asked by some military officers and other citizens to prove his natural born citizenship. Instead of doing that cheerfully, promptly, and with good natured **HONOR**, Obama has gone to considerable effort to prevent the release of some really basic documents.

The polls show that growing numbers of American simply can not state with conviction that their president is a natural born citizen and eligible to be occupying the White House.

No, I am not admitting that Obama was not vetted. He was vetted by both his primary election opponents and by the Republican National Committee and also by the McCain-Palin campaign and there is “Above Top Secret” vetting of any serious presidential candidate by the 16 US intelligence agencies.
You see, the US Intelligence Community doesn’t take too kindly to the possibility of handing over the launch codes to every nuclear warhead in the US arsenal to an ineligible person.

I’m sure that if any court of law had ruled that Obama should provide proof of his eligibility to any member of the US military, the President would have politely complied with that order, but its not a good idea for any president to establish a precedent of having junior officers challenge the Commander-in-Chief, that could lead to chaos in the chain of command.

Now if any member of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, the Secretary of Defense, or General John Petraeus, when he was Commander of Central Command, had asked for Obama’s birth certificate and proof of his natural born citizenship, that would be different.
By the way, of the six current members of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, five of them were appointed by President George W. Bush and only one was appointed by President Barack Hussein Obama, General John Amos, Commandant of the United States Marine Corps.

Those public opinion “polls” can translate into votes AGAINST Obama in the next presidential election for his failure to be transparent about his life. However it still remains the job of Obama’s political opponents to provide the vetting of him and expose any information that damages his candidacy or his term in office.
