Wheeler didn’t dial the taxi guy - the killer did.

My first thought. Or, as another poster pointed out, Wheeler may have seen the cab passing with a phone number on its side and posted the number to his phone in case he needed it.

I tried to see if there was a number posted on the outside of Scott's cab. The chances of Scott knowing it was him "on two different occasions" and in two different outfits is almost impossible.

When I heard Scott say: "That's all I know"....it sent up a red flag.

John got mugged between the pharmacy in New Castle and when he is seen "homeless" in the garage in Wilmington...It's only 40 minutes...20 minutes of it is travel....

We still don't know why he was going to Wilmington but someone does. He must have been going to see someone.

We do not know what he was wearing in the Pharmacy. Did he have a topcoat on?? Was he carrying a briefcase at this time? He should have been according to future events. If he did have his briefcase, one would guess that he was going to Wilmington on business. Who's in Wilmington??...his attorney.

It still drives me crazy that he didn't call his wife after being mugged. I don't give a damn that she was traveling.

Possible domestic troubles??

P.S. I'm going to sell some of my gold this week. If I look homeless, will he give me more??

And of course the difference between those two scenarios would be obvious with the phone in hand, since the numbers would be stored in different places. Were the cabbie's number in the numbers dialed register, I believe that the cabbie would be in custody now.

I have posted the number in my phone by calling it so I can use it later. It is possible that he did do that. I can also believe that his killer did it. More investigation and interviews are needed. The truth is out there.
