Just thought of the snow boot angle too.....Here's another one. Wonder if he kept a key outside. When he got home late on the twenty eight, the key wasn't there because the “boot” person had used it.

Went to the construction house to get out of the weather, lit the “bomb” for light or warmth, they poisoned him and caused the confused state.

Who called the fire department? Who would see smoke coming from an empty house at eleven o'clock at night?
