At about 11:30 that evening, said Morris, who lives in the home between the Dills and Wheeler, he was watching television when he heard what he described as a "loud thud" from across the street. Morris, a 44-year-old bachelor who moved into the home last fall, assumed rowdy kids were throwing things at the Marini house. He looked outside and could see a glow from the home, which was framed with plywood walls but had unfinished windows. "I could see the glow intensify and I didn't know whether it was kids or some homeless person cooking a fire to keep warm," Morris said. Morris went to another window for a better look and "saw this guy with a large-framed build," wearing a hat, a gray sweatshirt and dark pants. "The guy was lobbing, like pitching a softball, a ball of fire and it was just a trail. I saw him throw two in there. The inside was on fire. I turned the light on and he calmly turned around and walked across the park."

I agree he was set up.....And the only person it comes back to is the wife...Nothing would surprise me.

If it was a govt hit...he would have been dead the first attack.

Jack left us a lot of clues...He was angry...and I'm sure it was wifie who p***** him off.

So she gets a call from Dill about the condition of the house...BUT says "Scr** you Jack...I'm going to the wedding without you".

Doesn't make any sense at all.....

Like all of us...Jack couldn't be in two places at the same time. Either he was in DC on the evening of the 28th or he wasn't.

AND, why does everyone assume the phone was left there on the 28th during the smoke bomb adventure. It could have been there a week...two weeks....a month...We know little about the found phone.

Maybe it's just me, but a more logical move is to leave the light off and dial 911. Rowdy kids or whatever, not a bright move to let them know that you witnessed it. Besides, if there was a glow inside an empty, unfinished house, someone should investigate it.
