The price of gold today is at $1,368.90 an ounce, and during the 2-hour finale of "Sarah Palin's Alaska" you'll join us as we find gold.
When William Seward purchased the Alaska territory from Russia in 1867, he knew that our natural resources and strategic location would help secure the nation.
We show more of Alaska's potential in Sunday night's final episode at 8pm ET on TLC.
~ Sarah Palin
Sarah, her brother, Chuck, and their kids go to Nome hunting for gold. The plan: to find enough to make Sarah's mom an anniversary gift.
The following hour is a treat for all of us. If memory serves, (it was 2 weeks ago) I think the second hour is supposed to be "never before aired" *out-takes*....lol.
Thanks to you and everyone for being here Sunday nights to make watching Sarah Palin’s Alaska so much fun! There’s nothing better than watching our Sarah with friends and supporters of her. Our threads have been virtually troll free, too. We are blessed. I hope I have not spoken prematurely. (Yikes).
LOL, I live in ND. I wasn’t aware I had an accent until I went to Oklahoma at age 16 on a harvesting crew. The southern girls loved our “Canadian” accents. Y’all! I ordered Sprite at a drive in theater and couldn’t get them to understand me. I said you know, Sprite, like 7up. One girl said ohhh Spriiiiiitee, dragging it out a mile long! lol. I’ll never forget it.
I won’t watch the news. Jane Long isn’t watching it either. I plan to watch Greta’s show tomorrow nightbecause Sarah Palin is her guest, and I will listen to Rush in the morning without turning on any TV news. I’m also planning to listen to TGO [Mark Levin] in the late afternoon.
Puppy cuteness is hard to beat. ; )
Thanks so much for this thread week after week! I haven’t always made it for the live watching but when I have I’ve enjoyed it thoroughly!
Hard to say my favorite part or aspect of this series. Piper leads, however.
ROFL. Please continue to talk like Sarah!
Oklahoma has “southern girls”? Whoddathunkit?
Me too. I am happy she has *other plans* for this year. I am voting for her, too, even if I have to write-in her name, just like The Wizard said.
Piper’s cute, but I liked the logging episode.
I hope no one watches this Kennedy show coming up. Yuck!
Piper is a favorite for sure. I think Sarah’s Dad, Mr. Heath stold my heart. The man is awesome and it’s hard for me to believe he’s 72. He’s 72 years YOUNG!
The Kennedy home movies show is on January 30, but don’t worry, will NOT be watching it.
God Bless Free Republic and you wonderful folks....
Well, yeah, you’re sure right about that, but Jim is very cute, too.
Lol, I never knew I had one either till I moved here. To North Dakoooooota.
Yup, I agree and that’s why it’s so hard for me to say what my favorite aspect or person is. Sarah’s dad is indeed awesome, I love the way he looks at her — it’s so obvious how proud he is of her. I think both Sarah and Piper are chips off that “old block.”
I haven’t been here before, but I’m here tonite! :-)
Thank you, Red, for using that symbol as a Freepathon icon. That is one symbol that need to go viral all over the web. The “cross hair” meme “lie” is getting more than anoying. It’s so easy to see that it is the symbol used by Sarah’s team.
That’s my plan too Onyx. I never watch tv news. It’s radio and the internet for me. Keeps my blood pressure in line.
A day without Rush and TGO just doesn’t feel right. I miss them on the weekends.
Amen and you’re most certainly one of the wonderful folks!
FReepers ROCK.
