You dont find many gems on a Saturday morning. Its a lazy day, getting ready for football and a late breakfast---then Cokie Roberts, speaking on ABCs Good Morning America, dropped the bomb.Roberts has apparently bought into the far-left's conspiracy theory that Republicans simply do not want to see Americans get jobs. Yep. Republicans are more interested in defeating old medias Dear Leader than they are in Americans' well-being. ABC's Dan Harris sounded off in agreement.Harris set it up this way: In the modern era no President has won re-election with the unemployment rate higher than 7.2%

A better question is, “Does our POTUS really want to see jobs increase?”

Kookie is asking the wrong party that question. She should be asking her comrades about jobs.
To: Nachum
The Democrats haven’t worried about jobs for four years. Obama didn’t worry about it for 20 months. The Republicans take the House and within a few days the Democrat minions in the press are already speculating that Republicans don’t want to create jobs?
Of course plenty on their side will believe it.

Cokie’s political universe has changed quite a bit since David Brinkley was running the show. I think she is a little mad, e.g. insane.

Do they really want to see jobs increase....? The answer to that question is that the question itself is irrelevant......as long as Obama is in the White House there will be no job increases. He says "jobs, jobs, jobs" to the people, but his agenda does exactly the opposite.

I was born into a democrat family, but somehow been a republican conservative God fearing person since 1952 when I was 10 years old and would write 'I like Ike' on notebook paper and let fly out the school bus window. We didn't know about littering then. Besides no one mowed the grass on the shoulder of the road...it was all weeds. There wasn't litter, except for me I guess. But I can see both sides of jobs story, republicans and democrats. I am sure the very rich care not one bit about the poor. That includes more than jobs, no matter what their political affiliation.

Good ‘ol Cokie Roberts.
My one and only Cokie moment came back when Dole was running for president. I attended a very small republican function on election night and Cokie and crew were there.
I wasn't too far from them and they were on break standing around. I approached Cokie with a smile and asked if I could get her and the crew some juice or ice water from the bar.
You should have seen the look on her face as I approached her. She was looking at me as if I was carrying a stick smeared with dog doo.
Her answer was a quick, sharp ‘ No! ‘. I said ‘ well, have a nice night ' and she just stared at me wide eyed and looking like she'd been sucking a lemon. What a piece of work that woman is.
